Great Lip Balm, but Extreme Tingling Effect!
Even though I had a few problems with this lip balm I am still using it today. It makes my lips look better than any lip gloss has ever been able to. Plus, the slight burning sensation that it causes gives the balm time to dry so I don't constantly lick my balm off anymore. After a while the burning sensation almost seems to give you a sign that the balm is working its magic. It really is a great deal and a product that I will continue to use for years to come.

Pros
Fuller lips. Softer lips. Great size. Affordable.
Cons
Tingling/Burning sensation. Burns more on chapped lips.
My Thoughts
I don't know exactly what was in this lip balm, but something caused an extreme tingling/burning sensation. It always stopped a few minutes after each application so I did not discontinue using it, but I am sending out a warning flare that it might have an uncomfortable side effect. Still, the lip balm really did its job! It left my lips looking fuller and much more kissable! The size of the balm is great for travel and can fit in your purse or pocket on any occasion.
More Bang For Your Buck
This lip balm is supremely affordable, and you will not need very much to give you the desired effect. You will be able to use this product sparingly, saving you a ton of money. It is also a great pick-up for anyone who has the bad habit of eating their lip gloss or chapstick off of their lips constantly. The stuff they use for the plumping effect makes this lip balm tingle on almost everyone of my friends who tried it, which gave the balm time to dry before it could be licked off.
Taste
The taste is not bad, but not like anything fruity either. The balm does not cause a bad taste for kissing either, but be sure to warn your significant other about the tingling effect if you kiss them before the balm dries. You probably wouldn't want to lick this balm off your lips before it dries because, as bad as it tingles on your lips, I wouldn't want to imagine it in your mouth.
Consistency
The balm is a little bit goop-y but spreads very evenly. It will feel a bit thick until the tingling sensation goes away, which is when it dries. Afterwards it will leave your lips looking fuller and feeling super smooth. Overall, the thickness is worth it to have lips this smooth.
Bonus
Be warned that the balm tingles even more if your lips are really dry. I would advise anyone who has really dry, chapped lips to first apply a regular lip balm before applying this lip plumper. Otherwise you face an extremely uncomfortable tingling sensation. My boyfriend also gave me a compliment after I started using this product. He said that my lips were "softer." So if my boyfriend actually took notice, this lip balm must really work.

Experience
The instant that I applied a small amount of this balm to my lips and rubbed them together my lips began to tingle and burn like crazy. I started running towards the bathroom, in case I had to wash the balm off, but by the time I reached the door the burning sensation was starting to go away. The tingle was still there for a few more minutes, but after looking in the mirror this lip balm was worth a little bit of a burn. My lips looked much fuller and very kissable.
Follow-up commentary
10 months after original review
I still enjoy using this lip balm and I have found it effective at keeping away chapped lips in the winter. I have almost even started to enjoy the tingling sensation that accompanies its application. It's a great product that I will have to buy more of soon. I'm almost out, so it does get some use.
