Great aroma, great feeling
This is a multi-purpose candle that is organic, provides a great aroma and moisturizes the skin when used as a massaging oil. The oils rub in completely, leaving no oily or sticky residue. The skin feels moisturized after the wax is applied.

Pros
Great smell, long burn life, rubs into the skin completely.
Cons
It would be nice to have a pour type spout to prevent spilling the wax.
The Passion Candle by Good Clean Love is a multi-purpose candle. It can be used for just a shimmer of light, setting the mood, an aromatic mood setter, foreplay, fun erotic play, or a warm massaging oil. The Passion Candle arrives in a tin holder, measuring 2 ¾ inches in diameter and 1 ¾ inches in height. While the tin is silver, the labels are red and white. It claims to have a burn life of forty hours.
The Passion Candle is organic and the label claims that the purchase of this candle supports peace initiatives around the world. The Candle contains soybean oil, coconut oil, hemp oil, avocado oil, jojoba oil, apricot oil, vitamin E and an exotic blend of essential oils. The label also reminds the user to use caution with open flame and to keep out of reach of children. While heating up, the candle wax warms up to 101 degrees F.
Initially, the wick is rather long, approximately one inch above the wax. However, unlike most candles that have long wicks, the flame did not flare up or smoke. It quickly burnt down to the wax level. The wax gradually melted and released a clean, pleasant aroma. There was no flowery, spicy, or fruity smell, just a clean, calming aroma. The aroma was not a strong smell but did fill the room.
After allowing the wax to melt a sufficient amount, I poured some of it on hubby's back and his first reaction was ‘oh, that's warm.' I was afraid it was too warm but he stated it felt good, not too hot. As I rubbed the wax into his back, it felt smooth. There was no excessive oily feeling and no residue remained on my hands. The wax rubbed into the skin completely and did not leave any residue on clothing or the sheets.
It was my turn next and he likewise poured a small amount of wax on my back. It felt warm, about the temperature of the hot tub or warm bath water. He began to rub the wax into my back, relaxing me as he did so. The wax rubbed in completely and my back felt moisturized but not oily or sticky.
I did taste the wax just for the purpose of the review. There was no flavor to the wax. We have not tasted each other's skin after applying the wax.
The only drawback I found with this candle is that it would be nice to have a pouring spout on the tin. It is impossible to pour out the wax and not let a little amount of wax run down the side of the tin.

Experience
We have used this candle several times. I like to light it before hubby gets home and have the aroma fill the room. I love to burn candles anyway and I love the smell of this one. Hubby knows when he sees this one burning that he's going to get a back massage which he enjoys after a long day at work. We usually give each other a back rub, setting the mood which usually leads to a great night of sex. Afterward, once the wax has cooled and reset, I take the little bit of wax that runs down the tin and rub it into my hands. This works great as a moisturizer.
Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
We have used this candle multiple times for setting the mood and then using the wax for great massages. I am usually on the receiving end of the massage. The candle has burnt for at least thirty hours already and there is still about a fourth of the candle left. The wick is getting pretty short, so I'm not sure how much longer it will burn but there is still a sufficient amount of wax left in the can. The mellow aroma is still as strong as it was when we first lit it. This is definitely a product we will be replacing.
