This little romantic candle really is pretty and smells good. If you have your nose shoved into it. The Champagne Lights scented candle has pinkish-almost-purpley meltable beads in it that melt down into wax when you light the candle. (Always keep safety in mind. Please don't leave the candle unattended!) The scent I got is French vanilla. While it does smell like it, it doesn't really permeate a room. Also, once it's burned down a bit, when unlit it begins to have a sooty smell. Not romantic at all.

It's quite small in a little glass jar about 3" tall and 1 1/2" wide. It has a nice aluminum lid you can put on when it's not in use. Since it's in a jar, you don't have to worry about wax dripping, which I really like. Being a bit of a candle whore, I do forever have wax drippings everywhere. Also, I found that there's very little smoke with this candle. There's a little after you blow it out; but if you just put the lid on it when it's still lit, it'll go out on its own and you will have no smoke at all.

Due to how small this is, you get very little light with it. If you like to do things by candle light, you'll need several of these, or just add this to a collection of other candles.

As for the pheromones, we did not notice any difference in attraction, arousal, or anything like that with the candle lit or not lit. I think the most you'll get with this candle is some added sensual ambiance.

I love that it comes in a reusable container! Once you've used this one down, you can reuse the glass jar for another home-made candle, storage, or whatever; though, you will have the writing that's on the jar.

One thing that worked well is using this in a bathroom during a bath. Last night, D drew me a bath, lit this candle, and put it on the bath of the toilet, right next to the bath. He also lit another stronger scented candle further down in the bathroom. (Our bathroom is rather long.) Having this one right next to the tub helped the scent travel to me. With the smaller flame on it, I didn't have any random candle flickers in my eyes.

I think it's a lot better for sensual bath ambiance or another similar scenario.

Still not my favorite candle; it just sits on the back of my toilet for when I take baths. It emits barely any light and pretty much no scent. Totally not worth it.
