I have tried several different massage candles, and this one by far is my absolute favorite! Jimmy Jane has created a spectacular product with this candle. It's a great mood enhancer, even if you are just burning it, though it's intended purpose is an even better mood enhancer. It would be great for couples who are looking to have a romantic evening together, spice things up, and for some it might even be a little kinky!

The texture of this candle when not lit is very soft and greasy, the wax is pliable, and attracts lint, so I would recommend keeping it put up were it cannot pick up any debris. After you light the candle and give it a few minutes(approx. 15-20 minutes), the candle melts into a pool of warm smooth oil. It feels very velvety on the skin, and spreads very nicely. It feels just like a massage oil. And the temperature is absolutely perfect. Do not be scared to pour this straight from the jar onto your skin. It works out great for temperature play, and the warmth relaxes tense muscles, which helps to set the mood... if you know what I mean.

I did not taste this product as it is for external use only and should not be ingested. That out of the way... the smell is absolutely HEAVENLY! Within five minutes of lighting this wonderful candle the aroma of Pink Lotus permeated the air. I was relaxed before a single drop ever hit my back. This is exactly the reason why I used the entire candle way too quickly! The scent was so amazing that I burned it all the time!

If solely used for massage, and only occasionally this candle could last quite some time. I however, am down to the bottom of the barrel because I felt the need to burn it constantly. It also depends on how much oil you want to use for the intended massage. I found that it doesn't take very much at all ,just a couple of tablespoons worth did my entire back, butt, and upper legs/thighs. There really wasn't a need to reapply either, the oil left my skin very easy to work, and very silky feeling. I didn't head for the showers the instant we were done either, because my skin just felt like I had used an amazing moisturizer.
