The texture of the wax is not exactly what I was expecting. I expected more of a solid candle when I received this, though to be fair, some of it melted in the mail on the way here. After the wax solidified again, it was still soft and kind of creamy to the touch. The oils in the wax make it much different than your average candle wax. When melted, it's much more slick and moisturizing. Overall, I found the texture after and during use to be smooth and extremely soothing. After use, sometimes the oil or "wax" can be hard to get off in the shower without a generous use of soap. If you choose not to shower afterward, the oil seeps into your skin and moisturizes it deeply.

I loved the scent of this candle! The oils in the wax are subtle, yet still are potent enough to fill a room when lit. You can't smell the scent so much when the candle is unlit unless you put your face right up to the product. When lit, the wax warms and creates a really cozy scent no matter what scent you order. I believe I ordered this in a musk scent, and I was extremely impressed with both the quality of the scent and how good it smelled. I didn't taste this product, however.

I feel this candle really added a little something extra to our intimate time. Not only do candles set the mood, but this particular smell was sensual and light enough to be less overbearing than most traditional candles. Clean up isn't the easiest, as with most oil-based products and spilled candles. I wouldn't count that against this candle, though. This works a lot better than some of the other massage candles I've tried, namely Dona. The scent is more subtle and the glass packaging makes it easier to pour, hold, and is nicer to look at. When using this candle, I would be careful about getting it into the genital area at all, especially if you're using a condom. Sometimes oil-based anything can cause tears in condoms and just lead to horrible situations! Be careful with using the wax near any crevices.

The packaging is really what sold me on this candle. It's elegant, chic, and you get what you pay for. The white glass holder for the candle is easy to hold and really looks great in our bedroom. Not only does the product packaging rock, but the box it comes in is packed neatly and nicely and comes with a pamphlet that tells you all about JimmyJane and the candle of your choice. Some candles come with a brush to brush the wax onto your body, but I believe mine either did not include it or I simply lost it. The packaging is A+! It's discreet and easy to open/close, though is paper and probably shouldn't be used to store your candle.
