Climax Bursts Toy Cleaner is a toy cleaner by Topco Sales. This cleaner is anti-microbial and will kill bacteria and get your toys nice and clean after play and ready for the next use.
The active ingredient in this cleaner is Triclosan and this is what works to get rid of the bacteria. It is the same ingredient as some hand soaps that I have used. It doesn't irritate my skin or dry it out when I use it, so I assume that it is pretty gentle and good enough for all of my expensive toys. This cleaner is also enriched with Vitamin E and has a nice scent. I should mention that the scent of this one lingers on certain materials, particularly softer materials (jelly, TPR), even some silicone. I really like the way my toys smell after I use it, but for some this might be a con.
Here is a list of the other(inactive) ingredients: Acrylate Copolymer, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Cellulose, Chromium Hydroxide Freens, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Coco-Glucoside, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance, Glycerl Oleate, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Iron Oxides, Lactose, Mannitol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Polyquarternium-7, Propylene Glycol, SD Alcohol 40, Sodium C14-16, Olefin Sulfonate, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Water. I try to be aware of chemicals that are said to be unsafe, but in this case I do not know much about the ingredients used in this. However, I do know that I have seen many of them in other soaps and body wash products I have. For those concerned I hope this list offers some help when making your choice about whether or not to try this one.
It is a liquid that you use in the same way you would use soap. It has the consistency of hand soap and has little beads that dissolve as the product is rubbed into your toys. I kind of rub my toys in between my hands as if I was washing my hands so that the cleaner gets in all the spots that need to be cleaned. It makes a decent amount of suds that make me feel like it is doing its job. The directions say to apply this to your toys (I rub it in a little) and leave it for 30 seconds before washing it off. I find that for my anal toys I usually give a good rinse before I use this cleaner and leave it on a little longer just to make sure they are extra clean.
This cleaner comes in a 4oz bottle with a ball-shaped cap that you pull up to open. It took me a few minutes to figure this out because I was trying to twist the top off. After you pull the top you can squeeze the desired amount. I find that this type of top keeps me from dispensing more than I need. For cleaning an individual toy I find that a drop a little smaller than the size of a dime works well, and when I clean multiple toys I use more. At this rate I can see this cleaner lasting for a good amount of time, I will mention how much is left in the follow-up review.

Experience
This cleaner is great for sessions where I use a lot of toys at once (for example a clitoral vibe, a warm up dildo, and the "main event" toy) or when anal play is involved. I really feel like I get a thorough cleaning and I never doubt that I have missed some lube or fluid on my toys. The only downside is that if you are tired after using your toys you may not want to go to the bathroom and spend at least a few minutes cleaning up (this is when toy/body wipes come in handy).
Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
There is still a good amount of cleaner left in this bottle and I use it fairly often to keep my toys really clean. I have no issues with the cleaner itself but I have gotten into a few fights with the top on this bottle. It is simple to use, but I guess I used too much force one too many times and now the cap will not go back on. Just keep in mind that you might want to go easy when opening and closing it. Other than that, it is a great product and I will continue to use it.

Thank you for viewing Climax bursts toy cleaner – toy cleanser discontinued review page!
@sloppy donkey- Yeah, it is pretty much the same as hand soap, but I like to have separate toy cleaner or else my hand soap will get used up twice as fast because I would use it for toys and my hands.
Great review as always
Thank you SecretToyLover! As long as no one looks really closely at the label, then it is safe. I think if you leave it out people might use it as hand soap (it smells good too)
