Get creative with Liquid Latex Paint!
Have things been dull lately in your love life? Looking for a way to spice things up, or get more creative in the bedroom? Then I recommend giving Maximum Impact's Liquid Latex a try. It's a great deal, for $22.99 you get hours and hours of fun and exciting play out of the same product. It does contain virgin latex, so make sure you don't have any allergies to latex before purchasing. I will be purchasing this product again when I run out, and I do recommend it to friends.

The Large Liquid Latex came in a 32 oz. plastic container with a screw off lid and a protective foil covering over the contents. At first when I opened the container, I was pretty dismayed. First of all, there was a layer of congealed latex stuck to the foil, and the smell was horrendous. I cannot stress enough to use this in a well ventilated area!
Despite the strong ammonia-esque smell, I was determined to give the latex a shot. I picked out all the clumps that had congealed at the top, which really wasn't that much; maybe about a half ounce worth of latex, and then I went to town. The first thing I did was test a small patch on my skin. Even though I knew I was not allergic to latex, I didn't want to mess around with a reaction to one of the other chemicals in this product. The second thing I did was shave the area that was going to have the product applied. I realized after my first skin test (regrettably on my lightly hairy forearm...), that you do NOT want this stuff on an area with hair. When you go to remove it, it is going to pull the crap out of your hair. The last thing I did was put an old sheet down in the area we were using this stuff. It will stain fabrics, so don't use it on your good sheets or carpet, and certainly not in your sexy lingerie.
I also recommend using lotion before you apply the latex, to protect and moisturize your skin. If your skin is too dry, then it's almost as if the latex sinks into your pores, and it's harder to remove.
With all that out of the way, you're safe to go grab your partner(s) and a paint brush (we found foam brushes to work best), and have some fun!
With all of the logistics out of the way... this product was tons of fun! We quickly found out that you cannot put it on quickly or in thick layers. So we took our time painting each other. My husband had fun painting a "Bra" and "Panties" on me, and I had fun painting designs on him. We stayed away from orifices, so of course, that means the panties were "crotchless".
When the latex dries it shrinks up to three percent, so it has an unnatural feel too it, which is somewhat exotic. After a while of playing with the paint, we figured it was time to take it off, which we were surprised to find... was half the fun! We had a lot of fun removing the paint in different ways. Slow and tedious... or quickly. You can peel it off or you can rub it off. And one time I even peeled some of it off with my teeth. (For the record though, the product does say to avoid eyes, mouth, and hair, so do this at your own risk.)
The best thing about this product? It is definitely good for more than one use! We barely made a dent in the product, so we will be getting much enjoyment out of it. Well worth the 23 bucks you spend on it.

Follow-up commentary
1 month after original review
I know this is a bit premature. Due to the circumstances, however, I can definitely say that I do not like this product anymore. I have used it maybe twice since I posted the review, always making sure that I don't keep the lid off for very long at all. It still has clumped up to a point where I can barely use it at all. Probably half of the container is full of useless chunks of solidified latex. I think it would be really great if this could be in a pump-able air tight container, or if they could make an add-in ingredient that would get it back to its liquid state.

Yea, I agree Married. We used it again just last night after writing this and all day long we have been finding latex.

Would be nice to know if one could use this product to paint eg a bra on and then go out to a club wearing the latex 'bra' or if it cracks and comes off when the body heats up. Any info update would be appreciated.

Thanks for an honest, helpful review.

Having second thoughts about this

Eh, I have no interest in this. Thanks for sharing.

Edenbelle, I would NOT wear this out in public as an article of clothing. It is way too easy to rub off, recently I painted a bra on at home, and just by moving around too much it started peeling off within minutes. I do have somewhat oily skin though, so maybe on a person with more dry skin it would hold better. I am not sure.
