The Good Head Deep Throat Spray is manufactured by Doc Johnson. This product is a mild numbing agent that is suppose to increase your comfort when giving oral sex. This product is best used when giving oral sex to a male partner. There may be other uses for it as well but I have not discovered them. I feel that anybody with bad gag reflexes would benefit from this spray.

Active Ingredients -
Benzocaine 5% : Oral Anesthetic - Benzocaine is a local anesthetic commonly used as a topical pain reliever, or in cough drops. It is the active ingredient in many over-the-counter anesthetic ointments.
Glycerin 33% : Oral Demulcent - Glycerin is a simple polyol compound. It is a colorless, odorless, viscous liquid that is widely used in pharmaceutical formulations.

Inactive Ingredients -
Alcohol Denat., Flavor, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Caster Oil, PVP, Sucralose, and Water.

The box says it may contain Caramel Color, Blue 1 (CI 42090), Red 40 (CI 16035) and Yellow 5 (CI 19140).

The liquid comes out of the bottle with little effort. I sprayed it into my hand and it only ran a little bit. It stays in place pretty well and doesn't leave much of a greasy feel. I do feel that the liquid is a bit on the sticky side and would need to be washed away with water if you somehow missed spraying this into your mouth. It isn't overly sticky but does leave a little residue on your hand that cannot just be wiped away with a towel. The liquid looks like water with food coloring when it is in the bottle. It is not a thick liquid at all.

This spray is available in three different flavors that you can pick from. There is wild cherry, mint, and cinnamon. I choose to get the wild cherry, hoping that it wouldn't taste too bad, since I normally like cherry flavored products.

Upon opening the bottle and smelling the product I was instantly reminded of the smell of spearmint gum. It could be compared to a strong minty mouthwash as well. The smell is fairly strong and lingered around for quite a few minutes. I didn't find the smell to be bad necessarily, but it was a bit stronger than I would have liked. It also threw me off because I expected it to smell somewhat of cherries and didn't pick up on a cherry scent at all.

The taste is horrible at first, but that fades after a short amount of time. After about 5 seconds the horrible taste went away. Whoever labeled this as wild cherry was on something, because it tastes nothing like cherries at all. I feel it tastes more like spearmint gum. While the taste is not the best, I feel that it gets a little better with each use.

This gel performed exactly as intended. Within seconds of spraying the liquid into my mouth I was able to feel a slight numbing sensation. I sprayed the liquid into my mouth three times and felt my whole mouth start to become numb. The spray lasted about 15 minutes before needing to be reapplied. After using the spray I was able to notice a huge increase in ease when it came to giving my partner head. As a girl who has always had horrible gag reflex issues, I jumped at the chance to get this spray. I highly doubted that it would do what it claimed to and was extremely happy that it did work as intended.

The packaging for this product is very minimal. You receive the spray in a black and red cardboard box. The box could be used for storage but I will be throwing it away when I am done with this review as it is a bit annoying to open and close. The front of the box says "Good Head", "Deep Throat", "Oral Anesthetic Spray". The side of the box has a little statement about what the spray is for. The back of the box has the drug facts. It lists the active ingredients, warnings and directions. The box says that this product is made in the U.S.A.

The bottle that contains the liquid is 2 fl oz. (59 ml) and is made of see-through plastic with a silver top. There is another plastic piece that covers the spray nozzle and makes it impossible to push the top down until it is removed. I kept the plastic piece on my spray to be sure that it doesn't spray all over the place by mistake. Just like any medicine bottle, there is a "peel here" indicator on the label. The information that is listed on the back of the box is also listed under the label.

Neither the box or bottle are discreet. Both say "Good Head, Deep Throat" on them. If you are worried about anybody looking through your personal belongings where you will keep this spray, it may be best to remove the label!

I noticed a huge difference while using this and giving my partner oral sex. I was able to take him completely without gagging, which is the first time this has ever happened. I love giving my partner oral sex as much as I enjoy receiving it. Before this spray, it wasn't a hassle but it was not as easy as I would have liked it to be. I could never take him completely and always felt that he would enjoy it more if I was able to. After using this spray and giving him head I heard a lot of "ohhh that feels good".

He really enjoyed getting head when I used the spray and to be honest, I enjoyed giving it to him much more. For the first time in my life I did not gag once. As I said before, the taste is not the best but I can easily look past that with the reaction I received.

When spraying the liquid into your mouth be sure to spray it in the middle of your mouth. The first spray was a little off, to the side of my mouth instead of the center. Because of this I had to reapply the product and made three quarters of my mouth numb! I quickly learned you want to spray it right in the middle of your mouth. This was the first "numbing" spray I have used and feel that if you use products like this on a regular basis you won't "mess up" like I did. Since the taste isn't that great you will want to be sure that you have to spray the least amount possible.

Overall I would give this spray 4 1/2 stars. I take away half of a star because it did not taste like cherries and the taste was unpleasant at best. The product did work as intended and did make giving head much more enjoyable on my end. I feel that if you don't have bad gag reflexes it would not be worth it to look into this spray because of the taste alone. But for the females that have trouble taking most of their partner, this will change your life! At the end of the day, I would highly recommend this product, as long as you can deal with a bad taste for about 5 seconds!
