Being someone how takes part in the BDSM life style and a HUGE fan of Fifty Shades the Smooth Me After Spanking Cream was only right for me to review. From the appearance in the box, to the smell, texture and feel of the cream I must say this is one of my favorite and go to creams after a good spanking. Lovehoney along with E.L. James approval put out a great product not only for experience spankers but for beginners too. It is a great product to have in your toy box for your sensual desires.

The appearance of the cream comes in a Fifty shades of Grey themed box complete with Christian Grey's tie and red font. The box is no bigger then the cream itself only being 1.7 fl oz 50 ml. Ingredients and warning label are printed on the back. Ingredients include coconut oil, shea butter, soybean oil, and sweet almond along with many others. Free from glycerin and parabens. The warning is simple, only for external use, avoid contact with eyes, and do not use on severely irritated skin. On one side of the box is the how to use directions which are simple as well. Massage cream before, during or after a spanking session to awaken and nourish the skin. Store this wonderful cream in a cool, dry place.

The cream itself is held in a small (I do wish there was a bigger size) black round container with a silver cover. The cover has the same Fifty Shades marking as the front of the box. The bottom of the container again has the warning and ingredients labeled on them. This is good so if the box gets thrown away everything is the same. The cover screws off and there is a white round foam like protection covering the cream. Once opened the aroma of hot, sexy, sensual Christian Grey is smelt. This smell is claimed to be Christian Greys signature scent of sandalwood, bergamot and musk. I can see and taste him now. Its a nice strong masculine smell that really fills the room.

The cream is white in color. It is semi thick but not thin, it is a good texture. Only needing about a dime size once placed on the skin it rubs thick. A nice firm rub is needed to rub the cream in. Once the cream is all rubbed into the spanked area or not spanked, a cooling sensation is felt, but not to overwhelming, the burn from the spank is enough. Wait a few minutes and your skin is silky smooth and the smell, ah!

Using the cream of spanking purposes is perfect! However I do use the cream sometimes as a nice thick lotion for my arms and legs. I just love the smoothness of the cream and the smell. Have I mentioned the smell is great?! The cream can be used for beginners and I recommend it for anyone. Again my favorite after spanking cream.
