Feel The Heat of my Heart... Warmer!
The Heart Warmer brings a comforting source of heat. It is easy to use to relieve sore spots or massage, but needs some boiling to be reused. This is an excellent product for what you pay for. I think everyone should have one of those.

Experience
I have really, really painful menstrual cramps and if I can, I will usually take the day off on the most painful days. Moving about and exercising has always helped, but when I don't feel like it, I'll try to massage the area with my hands. Well, until now. I've only been able to use the Heart Warmer once on such a day, but it really helped.
I'm not an expert in massages, so my technique could be better, but I can spread the applied pressure more than when I used my hands. The warmth is just perfect, and even though it cannot relieve the pain completely, the pleasant sensations help me focus on something else.
Considering that the warmth lasts about 30 minutes, I decided to buy two, so that if I have to boil one, I'll have another one ready. After boiling the first one, I'll just take that one and leave it over the painful area. Like I said in my review, the heart remains quite warm after being boiled, more than an hour.
However, the plastic appears to be more fragile, so I just take advantage of the heat rather than use it for a massage. I never had the impression that the heart was hot or that I could get a burn from using it, but just test the heat the first time and see how much you can handle. If it's too hot for you, wrap a towel around the heart and it should be tolerable.

Follow-up commentary
22 days after original review
After a few uses, the metal disk is much more sensitive in order to start the heat reaction. I was showing it to a friend and I just touched the disk through the plastic and the reaction started. I had read in other reviews that after a while the disk was more sensitive, but I did not expect it to happen only after a two or three times. It happened with the heart that I had used less frequently. I do not really mind since I usually intend to use it when I take it out of the box, and will be more careful if I just want to show it off.
Like I said before, I use it when I have menstruation cramps more than massage at the moment.
This month was worse than any other month, and I had to go home after taking pain relief without success. I was thinking that it might be time for me to consult so that I could have a prescription for a strong pain killer designed for menstrual cramps. When I went home, I snapped the metal disk and just applied the heart on my stomach, I did not even try to massage and I would just feel the heat instead of the pain and... I fell asleep.
I woke up a few hours later with the heart still on my belly (I don't move much when I sleep), and the heart was still a little warm from my body heat. I started to feel the pain again, and I snapped my other one -I have two- and fell asleep again. I was surprised at how easily I was able to fall asleep with this, since I would usually turn around frequently to try and be comfortable.
I really can't express how happy I am with this heart warmer, well heart warmers. This is definitely going to save me more than a couple of dollars in pain killers and I am pretty sure I will be able to stop missing work days if I use them at work. That's even more money saved. As long as I do not fall asleep.
