Dumbo's Magic Feather
Having issues with premature ejaculation? Cal Exotics may have just the product to help guys that might have trouble lasting as long as they would like. The Sex on the Go Desensitizing Wipes for Him use a small amount of benzocaine to provide a desensitizing effect that may be just what you need in order to last a little longer in the bedroom. There is a pleasant warming sensation after application. Unfortunately, the desensitizing may not be all that noticeable, but mileage may vary.

Pros
Warming sensation, some desensitization, some potential for prolonging orgasm
Cons
Not enough desensitization, not enough orgasm prolongation, contains parabens
Maybe it's because I recently spent some time at Disneyland, but when I was trying to figure out what Cal Exotics' Sex on the Go Desensitizing Wipes for Him did for me it made me think of Dumbo's Magic Feather. I'm sure you're wondering what a flying elephant's magic feather and a wipe meant for use on a cock have in common. Well, I think they both are more of a mental exercise than they are a truly physical exercise. The magic feather was really completely mental while the Desensitizing Wipes are probably 90% mental and 10% physical so the comparison isn't exact, but I'm sure you get the point.
The Sex on the Go Desensitizing Wipes for Him are a box of three individually packaged 5"x6" wipes. The wipes are soaked with a compound that is designed to desensitize the penis. The ingredient list is: propylene glycol, water, benzocaine (2.0%), euterpe oleracea (acai berry) fruit extract, punica granatum (pomegranate) extract, tromethamine, acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, citric acid, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben, isobutylparaben. The first couple of items are pretty standard ingredients in a product of this type. Benzocaine is what should provide a desensitizing effect. I have no idea why the acai berry and pomegranate extracts, nor the tromethamine are in there. The C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer is common to cosmetics and is a stabilizer to keep the mixture from separating. The rest of the ingredients, Citric acid, phenoxyethanol, and the parabens are all preservatives. Parabens are controversial because they have been found in extremely low concentrations in breast cancer tumors although no effective direct links between parabens and cancer have been established. If you want to avoid parabens, avoid these wipes as well.
After all that scientific mumbo jumbo, you're probably saying "Jimbo, enough about what's in them, how do they work?" There is definitely a warming sensation after rubbing the wipes on your skin. My personal feeling is that the desensitizing was not all that dramatic. It felt slightly different, but not enough so that I wouldn't reach orgasm. Here's the trick though. Any one that is working on trying to prolong their time to orgasm needs to realize how much of it is mental for them. The more prone to premature ejaculation you are the less mental it probably is for you. Taking control of your orgasm means making it more mental and less physical. It still ends up being about the physical pleasure of the event, but if you can use your mind to control your feelings about it you can make yourself last longer. Some popular media depicts thinking of un-sexy things to promote this, and although this may work for some it isn't something I employ. I like to realize when I am pushing close to the edge and slowing or stopping the action to give myself time to recover. Keeping my partner going is essential in this process so she doesn't lose where she is, but I do this with the use of my fingers, my lips, or toys depending on what is readily available. So do they work or not? I'm going to say that I think they may work for some people and they are worth a shot if you are looking for that something extra that is going to help you last just a bit longer. If you have a real problem with premature ejaculation, however, I don't think this is going to be the magic bullet you may need.
I'd like to mention a little bit about the packaging. In my opinion, these look a lot like a box of condoms or each package looks like a condom. Closer scrutiny will reveal their true intention, but I think many would just dismiss them at a glance as being a condom. The box says Sex on the Go all over it, but it seems like that could be dismissed as a brand of condom as well. There are also no pictures of genitalia or lewd pictures on the packaging. All of this seems to make these very travel friendly in my opinion as you probably aren't going to get a lot of questions about them.

Experience
I've used two of the three wipes now and neither time did I feel a tremendous loss of sensation. There is definitely a warming sensation after application which lets you know that you wiped it on, and it isn't like you need to limit the application to your penis. I applied it to my scrotum, my taint, and even my anus. I could feel the warming in all locations but again, the desensitizing was not dramatic. I didn't try to insert a large toy anally to see if I noticed any difference there but I would normally discourage people from using a desensitizing product for anal play since the sensations back there are critical to playing safely and hurting oneself. I think that it is best to already have an established erection as desensitization is going to have a negative impact on achieving an erection.
I went ahead and wiped one on both my partner and I as I was interested on her thoughts on how it felt. She said it stung a little when first wiped on but that the warming sensation eliminated the sting. It didn't really have much impact on her sensation either. In this session, I had some on my hands and then handled her breasts which didn't bother her, but when I put my mouth on her breasts I did taste the medicine flavor which wasn't all that bad, but definitely noticeable. Then my tongue experienced a little numbing for a while. So it definitely has an impact on your tongue even if it isn't all that noticeable on your genitalia.

Thank you for viewing Desensitizing wipes for him – wipes discontinued review page!
As always, wonderful review Jimbo.
Thank you for the compliment, married with children. I considered tagging it as a gag gift, but I wasn't sure how I would react if some one gave it to me as a gag gift. I guess I would just laugh it off.
