Dry Shaving?
While I, personally, don't care for a dry shave this is perfect for those who do! The shaving cream performs superiorly in the shower or even in the tub. The fragrance is pleasant and doesn't have a chemical tang to it. Love this stuff!

I bought this shaving cream for my daughter because she loves lavender and jasmine. SHe was looking for a shaving cream that wouldn't dry out her skin or leave her with nicks and cuts all over her legs. She's still young and still learning how to shave properly. I really like EOS products and this looked like a perfect product for her.
The product arrives in a light purple plastic container and you get 7 fl. oz of product. The top is a pump type dispenser and the bottle is designed not to topple over when you have one hand full of razor and the other full of cream. It takes about two pumps to do the lower half of a leg up to the knee. She doesn't shave all the way up her thighs yet but for me it takes about two additional pumps for my thighs.
The cap fits the bottle securely and prevents the product from being squirted out of the bottle because it's on its side. This means you can pack it in among your clothing and be assured it isn't going to force you to do laundry when you arrive at your destination. When flying wrap the bottle in a ziplock plastic bag just for safety sake!
The cream is white and thick but it covers well and protects delicate skin like a champ. The fragrance is light and refreshing and not a bit like a chemical slick. The ingredients are pretty straightforward and I offer a listing here for those people who are concerned about allergies:
Water (Eau), Mineral Oil (Huile Minerale), Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Glycol Stearate, Triethanolamine, Cetyl Alcohol, Petrolatum, Glucono Delta Lactone, Sodium Benzoate, Dimethicone, Glyceryl Stearate, Titanium Dioxide (CI77891), Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Carbomer, Fragrance (Parfum), Disodium EDTA, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter(, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Propylene Glycol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Linalool, Butylphenyl Methylpropional
The company adds quite a few moisturizing agents to the formulation and I can say that I appreciate it since I rarely shave during the winter due to dry, rashy and easily irritated skin. The packaging says it's formulated to be used as a dry shave or a wet shave. I prefer a wet shave but my daughter assures me that dry it works amazingly well and she feels as though she has more control over the razor. I can attest that my skin feels soft, silky and smooth after shaving and I don't have nasty bikini rash from the nickel in the razor. It didn't cause me any stinging or other irritation when I shaved my pubic hair and underarms.
I recommend this product to everyone who has a hard time shaving but really doesn't want to look like sasquatch! The fragrance will not burn sensitive nostrils and lasts only for a few hours. It blends well with other body washes and perfumes. The cream washes cleanly away without leaving a sticky or filmy residue. it also doesn't leave a sticky, soapy residue on the tub or shower.
