The Blue Lotus was a symbol in ancient Egypt for the universe, fertility and sexuality. It was also used as an aphrodisiac when ingested or smoked. The aroma promotes relaxation, healing and togetherness.

The Blue Lotus herbal bath essence is a bit of aromatherapy for your bath. Pour a couple of capfulls under the running water and enjoy the sweet, fresh fragrance that fills your tub and bath. The Blue Lotus starts out with a pureed cucumber essence that develops into a very light floral Lily of the Valley aroma. The scent is not overpowering and deep, but light and relaxing. This smell stays in the water and bathroom for about 20-25 minutes. It does not, however, transfer onto your skin.

There is no added color or oil to your bathwater. This bath essence also leaves no residue or aroma in your bathtub after the water has been drained. The bath essence has been infused with botanical moisturizers, however I did not notice any obvious moisturizing from this product.

What I did notice was a spa-like bath experience. This made my bathroom and bath water smell so light and fresh and turned an ordinary bath into a relaxing, mood altering experience. I was definitely more refreshed and less tense after enjoying the aroma and relaxing in the bath. I also noticed I paid more attention to all the small extras that usually get overlooked in the bath. I exfoliated my knees, elbows and feet, massaged the bottoms of my aching feet and used a mask on my face and neck while soaking. Talk about pampered!! I felt like a million bucks after that bath and decided to make this a weekly ritual.

Experience your own spa and pamper yourself with this essence. You will value the time spent in the tub and might make a weekly pampering ritual of your own!! This product does not produce any bubbles. You can add this to the toilet bowl to freshen your bathroom. Soak some used dryer sheets in this liquid, let them dry and toss it in your next dryer load for a light aroma.
