Diamond lip gloss reviews
If you haven't tried this yet, and like the taste of vanilla sweets and are a fan of gillerty things this is right up your alley!
Cake Diamond lip gloss is a pretty shimmery, frosted gloss to make your lips shine. It smells almost good enough to eat. I wanted to like this gloss but the taste and texture just wasn't for me.
I love super thick glosses that I don't have to reapply every five minutes and this definitely fits the bill--maybe too well. It's a pain in the ass to remove, but it did the job of making me sparkle for hours.
The Diamond Lip Gloss by Cake is more of a desert than a beauty product, but it works as both. It's super sparkly, and that lasts for hours. It also smells, and taste deliciously sweet, like vanilla cake batter, and that lasts for a long time too. It's a very light color, but if that's what you're looking for, this one will make your lips luminous and deliciously kissable!
Cake's diamond lip gloss is available in three different colors. They each smell wonderful like yummy cake. The cap of the tube has an attached brush to help guide the gloss on your lips. There are some harmful ingredients in this gloss. This gloss is sticky, but not too sticky. My issue with this gloss is that it burnt my lips.
Cake Beauty's Diamond Gloss is a wonderfully rich lip treat that really pumps up both luster and plumpness. It's a bit pricey for the quantity you get, but a little bit goes a long way and lasts with the Diamond Gloss. These tubes come in appropriately cake-like aromas and shades, so if you like gourmand scents and nude colors, you'll love this stuff.
The Cake lipgloss in Vanila Frost is a very pretty, pearly lipgloss with tiny pink sparkles. It is buildable and stays put once applied without bleeding. However, it is very obnoxiously sticky and has a very strong, lingering vanilla scent which may bother people who are sensitive to smells. It may also irritate the lips of people who sensitive skin, for it may tingle, itch, or sting after application.
I am glad I bought this gloss. While it does not taste how I had hoped, it smells way better than I had imagined. It looks really good on me, especially over lipstick.
Diamond Lip Gloss is long lasting and moisturizing. It would be perfect for someone who wants lots of shimmer and shine, and a light, yummy scent. Unfortunately, it didn't create the look I was going for, and it caused a burning feeling on my sensitive skin.
I haven't been so conflicted about a product in a long time. On the one hand, this doesn't offer everything is promises. On the other hand, what it does offer makes me want more, more, more. I, personally, won't be buying it again but if you don't mind the price (or can find a coupon), you might like it.
This lip gloss is nice if you want to add shine and a hint of color to your lips. It’s easy to apply, either alone or over lipstick, and lasts a long time. Plus, it smells delightfully of fresh vanilla cake batter. It remains sticky and tacky on the lips, however, which some may find unpleasant.
