The Kitty and Total Body Shave Krème is a gentle, moisturizing shaving product from the makers of WET. It's specifically formulated for sensitive skin, such as the bikini area, but can also be used on any hirsute body part from which you feel the need to remove hair: the underarms, legs, face, arms, head, toes, et cetera. It can be used by people of any sex or gender, although its sweet, fruity fragrance may deter some masculine shavers.

The consistency of this shaving product is along the lines of one of the thinner, somewhat more liquid-y hair conditioners on the market. It has a smooth, soft texture, but is not as thick as the Coochy Shave Crème. It does squeeze out of its tube fairly easily, and stays in place when applied to legs and intimate areas, but I've found that I need to use a bit more because of the slightly thinner consistency.

The fragrance of this Inttimo Shave Kreme is called "Forbidden Fruit," and it definitely does smell fruity. It brings to mind those sweet, fruity-scented name-brand conditioners often used on clients at hair salons, which leave my hair smelling so good after an appointment. It doesn't smell like any particular fruit, but is a bit on the berry and/or tropical side--something along the lines of strawberry/cherry/raspberry/pineapple, perhaps. This scent doesn't last long on the skin after use, which is a con if you love the smell, but a pro if you plan to use scented lotions, body splashes, colognes, etc. after shaving, as the fragrances won't clash with each other.

As noted above, this shave product has a consistency on the thinner side, so I had to use more than I expected. However, it did give me a very close, smooth shave, and my legs and backside felt silky all day. I also enjoyed the fragrance while shaving. I recommend using this in the shower, as it doesn't immediately dissolve in the bath and will leave little blobs of Shave Kreme floating around with you.



I didn't get any razor burn/shaving rash/ingrown hairs with this product, though I was also using a new razor (Venus) and applied a little hydrocortisone cream to my sensitive tush area the next day when it felt a little irritated. I did also manage to get a slight cut on a rough spot on my knee, but that could have been from the new razor. My behind was far less irritated than when I've shaved there in the past!

This product is packaged in a squeezable, matte plastic tube with a screw-off, flip-top cap, and a seal underneath that cap. This type of packaging is appropriate for the consistency of the product, and makes it easy to dispense. The tube is a nice shade of plum purple, with silvery lettering and details on the front and white lettering on the back.



The info on the back describes the fragrance ("Indulge your senses in the lush aroma of wild berries"), lists some of the great moisturizing ingredients, shows simple directions for use:



...and then offers the standard warnings and the ingredients list. It's simple, and not too fancy, but it is a nice-looking and practical package.

The special features of this product include moisturizing ingredients like organic aloe vera juice (the second ingredient), wheat amino acids (wheat protein), jojoba seed oil, silk amino acids (silk protein), panthenol (pro-vitamin B-5), oat kernel extract, allantoin, lanolin, shea butter, vitamin E acetate, and dimethicone (liquid silicone). It's also not tested on animals, and is made in the USA.

So far, I've used this shaving product on my legs and the backside of my bikini area--I've been waxing the front side, or pubic region, for so long that most of it doesn't grow back anymore, so no need to shave my "kitty". My legs don't require a special shaving cream, as long as I wait at least two weeks between shaves, or else exfoliate them before shaving. On the other hand, my booty is very sensitive, as well as being a more friction-prone area, particularly when I wear thong panties.

I found this product to be a bit thinner than expected, but it still did its job well. My legs felt smooth, soft, and very closely shaven. I shave with the grain in intimate areas, so my behind wasn't perfectly hair-free, but it did feel nice and soft, and as noted above, I did not experience my usual irritation and trouble with those few ingrown hairs. I suspect the high aloe content was instrumental in preventing irritation. I really like this product, and though I had purchased both this one and the Coochy Shave Crème mainly for my partner to try (as she does shave her "kitty"), I think I'll be using most of this one myself!
