Delicious!
The Shunga Body Paint by Shunga Erotic Art is so yummy! My partner and I really enjoy the taste and love using the paint on each other. Not only does the paint taste good, but it's also very easy to clean off the skin with a bit of soap and water. We plan on getting another flavour of the paint soon.

Pros
price, taste, scent, attractive bottle, comes with applicator, will last many uses.
Cons
a bit watery.
The Shunga Body Paint by Shunga Erotic Art is available in three different flavours. I purchased the chocolate flavour, but there is also a strawberries/champagne flavour and a chocolate/vanilla flavour.
The paint was shipped within a plastic baggy in case it was to leak. The only packaging to the product is the glass bottle that the paint sits in. The glass bottle is see through and has a circular sticker label on the front. The front label states the company name, product name, and flavour. The back of the bottle has a brief product description, ingredient list, company contact information, and company website. Also included with the paint is an application brush. The brush sits on a piece of plastic, which is attached to the bottle when it arrives.
The bottle’s net wt is 3.5 fl oz (100 ml). The ingredients to the chocolate paint as listed on the bottle is as follows: Sugar, water, cocoa powder, sodium citrate, salt, caramel colour, potassium sorbate, N&A flavour, vanillan, citric acid, FD&C Yellow #5. I would suggest (because of the sugars) that the paint not be used in or around the vaginal opening.
The bottle stands 3 ½ inches tall (not including height of lid) and approximately 3 ¾ inches wide. There is a black, plastic lid at the top of the glass bottle. The lid twists off to access the paint. As long as the lid is twisted onto the bottle tightly, there should be no issues of the bottle leaking, even if it’s sitting upside down.
The paint is brown in colour and smells like chocolate syrup that you’d purchase at a grocery store. There are no funky scents of chemical. When I had opened the bottle, I was only able to smell the chocolate if I were a few inches away from the opening. The opening to the bottle is actually quite small. The diameter of the circular opening is ½ an inch.
The included applicator is a thin wooden stick with a diamond shaped foam piece attached at the end. The applicator is 4 ½ inches in length, with the foam piece being 1 inch of those 4 ½. The applicator reminds me of a tiny little spear.
The paint is a bit watery. Of course, this is necessary though considering it’s a glass bottle so it cannot be squeezed out. The watery consistency of the paint allows for the paint to be poured out of the bottle. To apply the paint to your own or your partner’s body, you can use the applicator that is included, a paintbrush, or you can pour it directly onto the skin. In the photo below, you can see little parts of the heart that I painted looks as though they are “air bubbles”. These are actually grains of sugar.
Since the paint is a bit watery, it will run. I haven’t gotten any on my sheets or clothing to find out if it stains. I assume it doesn’t but to avoid a mess, I suggest laying down a sheet or towel over the area where you or your partner will be when the paint is applied to the body. When applying the paint to my partners skin, I have him lay down flat that way the paint doesn’t really run. In the photo below, you can see how the paint will run.
As I had mentioned, the paint smells like chocolate syrup. The paint tastes exactly like it smells! There is no weird chemical taste to the paint. Since the paint seems to be watered down, the taste is not so sweet that it hurts the teeth or stomach. I’ve purchased paint in the past that was far too sweet and upset my stomach immediately. Luckily, this paint doesn’t do that to me. There is also no odd aftertaste or residue left in the mouth.

Experience
...continued
When the paint is licked off the skin entirely, there is no sticky feeling left behind. However, if you try to rub the paint into the skin with your fingers, the skin will feel sticky. This is easily remedied with some soap and water. We enjoy the taste so much though that when we use the paint, we get it all with tongue so we don’t experience the stickiness.
Overall, we’re happy with the paint. Both my partner and I really enjoy the taste of it and we want to try the other flavours eventually. There is quite a bit of paint in the bottle so it will last as for many, many uses. The back of the bottle mentions, “…can also be used for skin care and as a face mask”. I haven’t used the paint for this purpose and I probably won’t because the skin on my face is very sensitive. I did think this was an interesting idea though! I may even try it on my partner if he’ll let me! We would absolutely recommend this paint!

I still LOVE the Shunga Body Paint! I haven't gotten around to purchasing one of the other flavours yet but I still intend to. I would still recommend it to others.

I was really amused by your saying that the brush reminded you of a little spear. XD It reminded me of one, too!
Anyway!! Thanks so much for the great review!!
