Definitely not cold hearted.
It's a fantastic little heating pad. It's cheaper than a regular heating pad, and more convenient. It's a great little product for a great little price.

Pros
reusable, heats up quick, convenient
Cons
small
I love this thing! I wouldn't use it for temperate play because it gets unbearably hot. I use it for aches and pains and it's great. It's fun to play with and watch it harden. It feels great. I use mine all the time After a few minutes on the stove, it's good to go again. It's great for emergencies because you can use it anywhere. I just wish it was a little bigger.
To use it you just pinch the little metal disk inside and it starts to solidify and heat up. It ramps up from nice and warm to "oh wow, that's hot." The hotter it gets, the firmer it gets, so it's actually pretty entertaining to just play with. The gel form is nice because it contorts to your body and lays flat against you. You don't have to wrestle around with it to get comfortable. When it reaches it's hardened state you can still press it down and it will move a little, but it does get very very hot. I've used mine all over for random pains, cramps, even recovering from surgeries. On a cold night you can just curl up under the sheets and this little thing will actually put off enough heat to help warm you up.
This little heating pad will live a long time and easy to care for. All you have to do to it is boil it for 10 minutes and you're ready to snap and go again. It's a huge plus to me that it doesn't need to be microwaved or plugged in. ou Ycan use it in bed, in the car or even camping. You can use it over and over as long as you can get to boiling water. And if you can't, it stays hot for over an hour, so you have some time before it needs to be boiled again.

There is a "view actual product size" on the page, so you can check it. But It'd about 4 inches from tip to tip.
