The Divine Scintillation Massager is an excellent and affordable way to see if you like external massagers. You don't get the bulk of something like the Hitachi, but you do get a lot of power, just not as much. The size is great for travel or tucking away in small spaces, plus it's really cute!

Pros
Pretty quiet for the power, Small, Cute, Easy to use, Powerful, No cords!
Cons
A bit buzzy on highest level, Battery cap can pop off, Flex denies pressure for those who need it.
I'm not a huge fan of massagers because of their traditionally bulky size. The Hitachi is huge, for example! The Divine Scintillation is a petite massager that fits perfectly in my hand. It's cute, easy to use, and actually pretty quiet which is not typical of massagers with a lot of power. Power this does have! Three steady vibration levels will be enough for most women. I love how light weight this massager is! It has a perfectly curves handle than makes it easy to maneuver. The only down side is the flexible neck. If you require a lot of pressure, it will be difficult to achieve with the Divine Scintillation. I didn't mind the flexibility, however. It can be used for all over body massages, but it is best used for clitoral stimulation. Anyone can use it, females or males, and it is great for couples.
Divine has two materials. The flexible head is made of smooth and soft TPR. It's a nice material. I actually thought it was silicone at first. Available in two colors, pink and purple, each color is equally vibrant. I have the pink and I'd describe it as hot pink or neon. The TPR is smooth and not sticky, but it does have drag and will pick up lint and hair. It is also not completely non-porous, although it is a lot less porous than jelly or rubber. A condom isn't easy or fun to use with this toy, so it is not a good one to share. The rest of the toy is made of fairly cheap feeling smooth and glossy plastic. It plastic doesn't make contact with the genitals during use. Neither material have an odor or taste.
The Divine Scintillation Massager has a few typical aspects of a massager but is of a very not traditional size. I knew she was small, but not THIS small! The massage is about 6 1/2" in total length. The majority of the toy is the curved handle. The part that makes contact with the body is the head. It's about the size of a ping pong ball and sits on a flexible neck. It is sort of gum drop shapes with four deep grooves in each side leaving smooth space between the front and back. It is about 1 3/8" tall and wide, and 4 1/4" in circumference. The head sits on a small and thin neck that flexes in 360 degrees at about a 65 degree angle in any direction. It flexes very easily, which may make it impossible for some to get a desired amount of pressure.
The handle is shaped like a banana or boomerang and has a perfect curve. The curve helps for angling and holding the toy. It's 5" long and about 1 1/4" wide. Along the sides it has really pretty swirl patterns that are raised slightly. At the top of the curve is the toy's only button. it is 3/4" long and 1/2" wide with the 3S on it in raised letters. I'm assuming it stands for three speeds, which it has. The button is streamlined into the curve of the handle.
The bottom of the handle has a few ridges that help the end cap pop off. Here two AAA batteries slid in and the cap can be pushed back on easily. It also can pop off easily! This happened a few times during use.
This toy is fairly discreet due to isn't size and the fact that is is not insertable. This makes it not phallic for the most part. It's easy to hide due to size, as well. It's suitable for travel.
The massager has a single push button that controls the power. There is no kill button to the vibrations. You can to cycle through them all to turn it off or get to a lower level.
1. The first level is already above what I would consider a moderate/medium level. It is mostly concentrated in the head, but can be felt in the handle slightly. The vibrations are not terribly buzzy which is made possible by the insulated head. It's also really quiet and can't be heard through a door and is hard to hear across a room if it is making contact with the body.
2. The second level is also steady and increases in strength quite a bit. It also increases in noise level, but for the power it is quiet. This medium high level is likely enough to finish most people.
3. The last level is pretty impressive for this toy's small size. It's high and can start to create a rattling noise when it is not in contact with the body. If it rattles, it can easily be heard through a door. On this level the vibrations travel to the handle more and start to tickle the palm of my hand at times.
The button is easy and convenient to use. Some might be annoyed by the clicking noise that occurs every time it is pressed.
This toy is not waterproof or splashproof. Keep it away from water.
Caring for the Scintillation massager is fairly easy. The only part of the toy that should need cleaning is the head that makes contact with the genitals. The TPR can be washed with a wash cloth and anti-bacterial soap or wiped down with a toy wipe or toy cleaner. The ABS plastic handle can easily be wiped down if it gets dirty. The paint has not begun to chip off, but I imagine it will in time or if you use abrasive soaps on it. Remove the batteries and let the toy dry before storage. If you don't store it in the original package, don't store it next to toys that are also TPR or lesser materials. Use water based lubricant with this item.
The packaging is pretty nice for this. It comes in an equally small and sturdy box. It has pictures of the product laid over what looks like large pieces of quartz. Odd, but whatever. The back and bottom explain some information about the toy. The front has a thick flat that opens and is held closed with a magnet. Opening it up displays the toy underneath a plastic pane. The toy slides out the top in a plastic shell. Included in the package is a generic instruction manual for battery insertion and safety. It doesn't off much help since it is not specific to this product. The box says this is made in China.
I am really impressed with this little guy! The head makes it super easy to direct the vibrations to the clit and nipples. It's not a toy to be inserted, but for external play, it's really nice. The power to noise ratio is good as well. I would expect a toy this powerful to be louder. It's fairly quiet until the last level. I didn't have an issue with the flexible neck because I don't require much pressure for clitoral orgasms, but if you are used to that like you can do with a Hitachi, this is not the toy for you most likely. My partner found the vibrations too buzzy for him, but he tends to not like powerful vibes in general unless they are really rumbly. I only found the vibrations buzzy on the highest level which is too high for me anyways. But anally, they are a lot of fun! I like this pressed up against me anally (not inserted) while I get oral. For the price, this toy is excellent and it's a great way to get into massagers or have one that can easily be hidden or traveled with.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it1 month after original review
The Divine Scintillation didn't hold my interest for too long. It's not collecting dust. If I didn't have better massagers this would still be quite pleasing. For the average toy collector, this is still a great choice.
