Overall, this product was okay. It didn't wow me, but I like it better than some of the other shave creams I have tried. I didn't love the "Oh So Original" scent, but it wasn't horrible. It is a good deal for the price, and is travel-friendly.

Use

This product is a shaving cream, designed for shaving all over. It is suitable for use by everyone, as long as allergies are not a concern. It is intended to give the user a silky-smooth shave, while reducing rashes and ingrown hair from shaving.

Ingredients in this product are: Water, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetrimonium Bromide, Stearyl Alcohol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, PEG-60 Lanolin, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Panthenol, Allantoin, Phenoxyethenol, Methylisothiazolinone, Sodium Hydroxide, and Fragrance.

This product has a consistency similar to a thin lotion or facial moisturizer. This shave cream feels smooth upon application and is thick enough to stay in place. It doesn't feel sticky or too greasy and has a silky texture.

Taste / Aroma

This product is not edible so I have no intentions of tasting it. It has a light aroma that isn't too overbearing. It smells like a mixture of baby powder and flowers. It isn't my favorite scent, but it isn't horrible smelling.

Performance

This product did a mediocre job. It felt silky during application and shaving, but I had to re-apply to get everything shaved. This product should be rinsed off after shaving. It rinses off easily and leaves no residue behind. The bottle claims that it will reduce shave bumps, rashes, and ingrown hair. Unfortunately I had no such luck.

Packaging

This product comes in a 4 oz, plastic, pump-style bottle. It has brief instructions, ingredients, and product properties listed on the label. It is completely recyclable. This bottle isn't too discreet, having the word "Coochy" written on the front in big letters. Although this bottle is ideal for travel, discretion would be a concern.

Personal comments

I enjoyed the silky-smooth shave I achieved with this product. I used it all over and had no irritation, but I did not see a reduction in the amount of ingrown hair or shave bumps.
Follow-up commentary
This product has not helped the irritation I get after shaving. If anything, it has made my ingrown hair and shave bumps worse! You are better off buying regular old shaving cream.

    What a helpful review! I just bought the Intimmo stuff (mostly for my sister as I epilate downstairs, but I tried it out on my arm-pits since they get irritated from shaving) and I debated between this, the other shave product here and Intimmo. Intimmo won, and it does okay, but not impressive. I'm glad I didn't go with this, but I am sorry you were disappointed. Thanks for the heads up! I have tried the Maxx Total shave cream and I'll tell you, it is without a doubt, the best shaving product! I bought one tube to try out between my (for legs and arm pits) and my partner for his facial hair and... the occasional downstairs shave. Well, I was totally sold with my first use of it, and I ended up buying it later for my dad, sister and my nephew! Lol. It is a male product, but it works amazingly well on female skin too. My family and I love the stuff, so I would recommend it if you didn't like this stuff. The Maxx shave cream works so well for bumps and stuff, and leaves my skin smoother than anything in the world. I'm very picky about shaving products, but I'm really impressed with the Maxx stuff.

    When I used the Intimmo, I didn't think it worked half as nicely as the Maxx, so if you do happen to look into other shaving products, you should definitely consider that one.

    Well, thanks for the review on this. I like that you mentioned that it needed to be re-applied. That's a pain.
