Creme de la Coochy
This is a great product for anyone who loves paying high prices for sex novelties. It works fine, & it’s hilarious this product has “Coochy” smeared across the label, but those who prefer a little more discretion would be better off using regular old hair conditioner.

Pros
works well as a shaving cream & hair conditioner, smells nice.
Cons
indiscreet label, high price, leaves residue on razor blade.
I am a habitual shaver of my pubic region. Actually, I’ve got full-blown OCD when it comes to shaving, and have been this way (begrudgingly) since my early teens. We’re talking 3-6 times a week. Maybe I played with too many Barbie dolls as a child, maybe I heard too many angry bush jokes in middle school, but regardless of the reason I’ve invested a lot of time in finding awesome shaving products, and therefore consider myself a coochy shaving connoisseur. I hate waxing because you have to wait on your hair to grow out, anyone who has ever used depilatory creams know they’re awful, and laser hair removal is currently out of my price range. So here I am, stuck with trying to make the best out of shaving.
I bought Coochy shave crème in my relentless search to find the best shave cream. I’ve found regular shaving creams, soaps, and body wash give me terrible razor burn. The best thing I’ve found to help avoid bumps is to keep your skin moisturized with lotion during the day, and shave with hair conditioner, but I still get the occasional red bump or two. I also don’t like how conditioner builds up on my razors and dulls the blade quickly. I decided to try Coochy crème because I thought it might work even better than conditioner.
First things first, I had to test out the basics. The feel silky and smooth like conditioner, but is a little slicker. It’s almost like it’s got a little water based lube mixed in with it or something. The smell is a light, fresh, and slightly fruity. It also claims to be a hair conditioner, cool.
The final verdict: myeh. It works well as both a shaving cream and hair conditioner, but it’s nothing spectacular. I did my daily shaving ritual, and the results were about the same as when I use regular conditioner. It even left residue on my razor just like conditioner. As far as being a hair conditioner, it did a standard job as well, but again, nothing spectacular. It’s not that this product is bad or doesn’t work; it’s just that it didn’t blow me away, or set itself apart in any way. I’d rather just use a bottle of Pantene and save myself the extra $4, and embarrassment of having someone find a product with “Coochy” smeared all over the label in my shower.

Experience
My ritual for a silky smooth bikini line sans the herpes-looking rash:
-Soak in a warm bath for at least 5 minutes
-Thoroughly clean vag with a washcloth. (This exfoliates your skin, looses hair, and keeps your lady parts smelling so fresh & so clean clean)
-Apply conditioner liberally & let sit for at least 3 minutes.
-Pull skin taut and shave- do not go over areas more than once.
-Rinse with cool water

Thank you for viewing Coochy shave creme rash free – cream discontinued review page!
Sounds like a good novelty product though.
Good review!
Nice review, Machina, and nice that you gave an alternative.
Love your shaving ritual but I am so dam impatient, I just get right to it.
I do use Coo
Carrie Ann- Thank you for your nice comment & the advice! Now I've got to give Barbasol a try too.
Like my review says, I usually get a lot of irritation and while nothing eliminates it completely, Coochy cream does the best job compared to everything else.
Good review, though.
Adriana- Thank you for your comment too! The main reason I prefer regular conditioner (especially deep conditioners or 3 minute treatments) over Coochy is because I feel like it softens my hair a little better, and doesn't wash away as easily. I kinda had to keep reapplying the Coochy creme to get the area to feel hydrated & not hurt when I dragged the razor across my skin. I really need a smooth & thick shaving lotion to deeply moisturize my skin because like I said, sometimes I shave 5 or 6 times a week, & things can get really dry & irritated down there. I would probably have liked this product better if I was a normal person & shaved once a week
I'm glad you like it though, if it works for you, that's great! A lot of my friends really like this product too. I was also surprised others haven't heard of conditioner!
