Use

The best use for Bare Bliss is for shaving your more sensitive areas. Of course you can feel free to use it on your legs, under your arms, on his face, or even his junk. Leaves you lightly scented like cotton candy and can even double as conditioner in a pinch.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Bare Bliss has the consistency of hair conditioner. Once the bottle starts to get a little low, you have to shake it to get the product inside to get to the spout, much like the very end of the hair conditioner bottle.

When you squirt some into your hand it stays put really well, unless the shower is really hot and so is your hand, extra heat and humidity cause it to start almost melting. This just means lather it on quickly, or make sure to not tip your hand over. It feels silky and smooth.

It does start to gum up the blade a bit while using, so make sure to rinse your razor fairly often.

Taste / Aroma

This stuff smells just like cotton candy. It smells really sweet; I'm kinda sad it wasn't edible as well. As far as the strength of the scent, it wasn't overpowering in any way. After I used it to shave, my shower smelled lightly like it for about an hour or so after I got out. And when I used it as a conditioner my hair smelled lightly on and off for a few days.

I didn't taste it and don't recommend that you do either.

Performance

Bare Bliss performed wonderfully. I was left smooth, soft, and silky, and smelling lightly of cotton candy. I had a little bit of irritation the first time, but I attribute that to the fact that I should have let things grow out a bit more before I shaved.

It spread nice and evenly, even though I did have a hard time seeing it while trying to shave my legs with it. It also didn't melt away from the steam, although you'll want to try and avoid the stream of water to keep from washing this stuff away from unshaven areas.

Packaging

The packaging, while not [italics|the] most discreet out there, is still adorable and shouldn't catch too much attention if left in the shower.

The plastic bottle is clear, allowing you to easily see how much product is left at all times. The front tells you that you have an intimate shaving lotion in a 4 fluid ounce bottle.

In addition to listing their website, the back gives you directions on how to use: trim down longer hairs, wet area to be shaved, spread lotion, shave along the hair growth first, then against it, and then with it once more for the smoothest shave.

It also lists the ingredients: Water, Behentrimonium Chloride, Cetyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Isododecane, Dioctyldocecyl Fluroheptyl Citrate, Dimethicone Crosspolymer-3, ctinidia Chinensis (Kiwi) Fruit Extract, Citric Acid, Chamonilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Amodimethicone, Tallowtrimonium Chloride, Nonxynol-10, Fragrance, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Red 33

The bottle itself is really easy to open for use. The top is much like a shampoo bottle where you depress one side and the other pops up.

Personal comments

I read a neat tip about how to reduce blade gumming and extend the life of your Coochy shaving crème; while I haven't personally used this trick yet, I don't see why it wouldn't work for Bare Bliss either. It's great for those of us who are a bit harder of sight and don't always shower with contacts in. You're supposed to take a dime size dollop of your creme and mix it with about a pea size dollop of regular shaving cream. This extends the life of the product, leaves the blades of your razor less gummy, and makes it foam up a bit which will in turn make it easier to see.

Experience

I love this stuff so much. It's replaced Coochy and Inttimo for me right now. Unfortunately I just realized it's no longer carried at Eden.

Bare Bliss smells so fantastic, leaves me soft and silky every time, and really does seem like I can go longer between shaves. My fiance loves the way that it smells, and has noticed it on my skin up to 4 hours later.

I would definitely recommend this product.
Follow-up commentary
Try to find it if you can. Every time I use this, I start craving cotton candy. But it does still leave me as smooth as it did the first time I used it, so it's still a win in my book.

Kind of reminds me of Coochie from Pure Romance. I may try this though, because even though I LOVE Coochie, I HATE the smell. Cotton candy sounds a little more appealing!

I know Airen. I was so sad to see this get discontinued like, a week or two after I bought it. I went to go check the price for a friend and went "wait a minute" lol
