Coochy shave creme review
Coochy is a good product with versatility. It may not be worth the wait and shipping to everyone, but it's certainly worth trying out.

Pros
Great smell and hair conditioning, close smooth shave, not irritating on its own
Cons
Does not provide a completely razor burn free shave, thick consistency gums up razors quickly
I have sensitive skin. Honestly, it's a bit of a pain. So when a shave creme says "rash free," I go at it with a bit of skepticism. Coochy Shave Creme touts a rash free shave, as well as being a great moisturizer for all areas including your hair (the kind on the top of your head). Although it wasn't the miraculous product I was hoping for, it wasn't a disappointment either.
The first thing I noticed about Coochy was its consistency. It could easily be described as a shaving lotion. Being used to the foamy kind, I was a little suspicious. I found that a little went quite a long way though, and the lotion-like consistency made it easy to know where you had applied even though it nearly disappeared on your skin. The only thing I didn't like about the lotion consistency was that I had to rinse my razor really well in between almost every stroke. If I didn't, my razor gummed up very quickly.
Smooth and soft. I was a happy girl once my intimate area was shaved, so I decided to test it out on the rest. A lot more of the lotion was needed to shave the rest of my legs, and the constant rinsing left me thinking that Coochy was best left to just that.
The label had mentioned that the lotion also made a great hair conditioner, so in the interest of science, I tried it out. Honestly, it felt more like a conditioner than a shaving creme anyway so I smoothed away and let it soak for a bit. A quick rinse and I was done.
When I got out of the shower, I did notice that my freshly shaved areas were very smooth (as did my husband), and my hair seemed smooth but not greasy. The real test would be later though, with dry hair and a little time for any razor issues to appear. The next day, I was pleasantly surprised. Coochy had given a very nice close shave, and my hair looked fantastic (and smelled great).
I did still have a few razor bump issues; if I ever find the solution to that, I will be the one shouting it from the rooftops. Overall, I thought the product did a good job. The hair conditioning factor is a bit of a selling point on its own. The price is reasonable, especially when you consider the versatility of Coochy, but I'm not sure that I would want to wait for it to be shipped or pay the shipping. I would certainly buy it if I were getting other products as well though.

Coochy is fabulous! I still have the 8oz bottle I bought a year ago and I shave my bikini area every week. My husband has his own to use on his face and his skin is always baby soft. I like the original scent the best, the others are just a little too much for me. I checked out their website last week and noticed they shut it down, I don't know if this means they're halting production; I hope not because this is the ONLY thing I will shave with. It's nice and thick just like you said and a dime sized drop will go a long way.

Per Sleeping Dreamer's advice, I found this product works much better at reducing razor burn when you (patiently) work it into a lather.
