Clunky but Quality
Overall, it's a great product, and for eight dollars, it had better be. It may not be super travel-friendly, but it's worth the mild inconvenience for lips this soft! I would likely buy this product again.

This organic lip balm from Evolution of Smooth is one of my favorites that I have purchased in recent years.
On my lips, it has a somewhat waxy (though not uncomfortably so, for my own preferences) texture, minimal taste, and a pleasantly sweet, light lemon scent that does not bother my boyfriend's fragrance allergy. Each application keeps lips moist and somewhat shiny for about half an hour. I would not recommend it for a consumer who needs more intensive moisturizer in a lip product.
The sphere packaging is definitely unique and gets a lot of attention when using this product in public. A lot of people will ask what it is or stare intently while I use it. However, unless you carry a purse or wear pants with large pockets, you're not likely to bring this lip balm out with you. The size and shape make it impractical, if not impossible, to carry comfortably in the pockets of any pair of pants I own as a woman. If I can cram it in there, it looks extremely weird to have a mysterious round bulge in ones pocket. Plus, for some reason the plastic REALLY attracts lint, especially in jeans. And since it's a twist-off cap, it's hard to clean the lint out of the threads of both the balm and the lid. That's a huge con for me, as I don't like rubbing something on my mouth if it doesn't look clean. My jeans also dyed the plastic a bit, so the bright yellow is a bit discolored now.
The alternative to this great product in less than favorable packaging would be to buy the more traditional lip balm EOS sells (shown below), though even that looks larger than average (come on, EOS!) and this particular flavor is not currently available in the stick here on Eden Fantasys.
