Cleaning up with Lelo

I like this toy cleaner a lot. It does its job well, and my toys look brand-new each time. The scent is a bit strong but fades after awhile. Solid cleaner. I like my products to be on the natural side, so this is acceptable to me but not the best. When I have used this product up (if that ever happens!) I might look elsewhere, but for those who aren't as picky about ingredients, I definitely recommend this.

Lelo's Antibacterial Toy Cleaning Spray is a solid staple in my drawer.

Directions are listed in five languages on the back of the bottle, and basically say to spray the item, wait five seconds, and wipe clean. Do not touch your eyes or swallow the product. It says compatible with silicone, rubber, and latex toys, but I don't see why it wouldn't work well for glass or plastic as well. I use it on all my toys regardless of material (I stick with 8 or above on the safety scale), and have had no problems with it.

The scent of this actually reminds a bit of men's cologne. It is woodsy and crisp with a hint of musk to it. Some people might not like this, but I think it's a rather sexy scent. It is a bit strong though, and while it fades I wish it were a bit more subtle. It definitely smells like cologne to me--not natural at all. It also lingers on skin. I've listed the ingredients at the bottom of the review, and I think certain things like Fragrance are not needed in this particular product. I'm more concerned about whether it can do its job than whether it smells like a magazine insert.

While I have no way of really testing this product to see if it is indeed antibacterial, my toys always look brand new after being cleaned with it. As it dries it can be a bit sticky, but once fully dried there is no residue. I like to rinse my toys before use as some collect lint like no other, but I've also used toys that have been treated with the product and not rinsed and had no reactions to it. I am quite sensitive, so that made me feel more confident in the product's pH-balanced formula.

The packaging is simple but not particularly discrete. It comes in a simple white cardboard box with product details, and they are also printed directly onto the bottle. The bottle itself has a spray-top applicator so that it is dispensed in a mist. It also has a sturdy thick silver-colored cap to keep it from accidentally misting other things in your bag/drawer/toy box. I have had no problems with clogging. When my bottle first arrived it had leaked a little, but I have had no problems with leaks since then. I suspect it had not been tightened enough. Given the sturdiness of the cap, I think it would still be a good choice for traveling.

For the quantity (2fl oz.) and price $8.90 it might seem on the steeper end, but I have had my bottle for several months and use it on toys several times a week and it is still mostly full.
