This candle comes in 4 different scents. I purchased the Champagne Rain scent. It has a lavender and floral scent. My fiance and I like the way it smells when it's burning, but you literally have to be right on top of the candle to smell it. We lit it and sat it on the shelf on our bed frame and totally forgot it was there while sitting about 2 feet from it, because we could not smell it. We didn't really notice any "pheromone" like properties either, which was kind of disappointing because this is the first product I have purchased containing pheromones, so I was curious how it would work.

This candle is unlike any other candle I have ever purchased because it is made out of a bunch of little tiny wax beads. When lit, the wax beads melt and turn into solid form. When I first opened the lid some of the wax beads spilled out, so use caution when you open it up for the first time. I also had to fish around in the wax beads in order to find the wick. I burned the candle for about an hour and it's about 1/4 gone, so the wax melts very fast.

The size of this candle is fairly small for the price. It's a bit smaller than a Glade candle, which is what I usually buy because of the strong smell. You could probably smell the scent a little better if you lit it while taking a bubble bath or maybe sat it on a desk in a small room.

The jar this candle is in looks quite durable. It's in a rather thick glass jar with a metal screw on lid. So it would be safe to travel and take this candle with you, just remember to tap the top of the lid before opening so the loose wax beads don't fall out.
