I Love Camu Camu
This is the second body mist lotion that I've gotten and I love the fragrance and that it is inexpensive.

I had never heard of Camu Camu and there are no descriptions of the different scents available from Dona. I didn't know what to expect. Online searches for Camu Camu didn't yield much other than it is a small tree found in Peru and Brazil, as well as Colombia, Bolivia and Ecuador. It has high content of vitamin c and has a pleasant floral scent. The profile of this scent is difficult to place. It smells familiar but I can't nail what exactly it is. I hate really floral or sweet mists, perfumes, etc. but I like the soothing scent of this body mist.
This arrives in a nicely sealed plastic bag. There is a plastic seal on the side of the cap that should prevent it from breaking opening during shipping. I like that the spray nozzle bottle has a nice weight to it, it doesn't feel like other bottles I've used. The spray distributes a nice dose of the mist each time and it doesn't get jammed.
This is called a body mist lotion. While I initially wondered why, I think it is exactly that. The lightweight mist leaves the body feeling moisturized like a lotion would, without the greasy or sticky feeling. When I first used this, I was a bit nervous to spray it on because I thought it might leave residual marks on my clothes. But I didn't have to worry about that because it dried quickly. Even after the scent is gone, skin still feels smooth and soft.
I do think the scent wears off quicker than I would have thought. You can rub it in and the scent will dissipate. I usually spray this on my wet skin after a shower and it wears off within half an hour. I don't count on this for long term fragrance. I like this for a light scent during the day as well.
Once you spray the mist, you can immediately smell it. A fuller melon scent is detectable but I can't say that it's mangosteen completely. The scent of this is fresh and not overpowering. I usually have really masculine perfumes or body sprays but this is a slightly fruity and feminine alternative for me.

Still loving this! I've purchased 3 of the other variations and couldn't be happier with any of them. Definitely one of my favorite brands here.

Thanks for the review. I have this and have used it every day since I got it! I really like that it makes my skin soft, but with it provided more long-lasting moisture instead of wearing off so quickly. I do live in the desert, though!
