The amazing scent of vanilla cake with a hint of coconut has truly been captured in this creamy bath and shower gel. This bath and shower gel will offer you a delectable bath and/or shower experience without all of those calories! I typically use this as a shower gel, but you may also use this product for bubble baths as well. Although I would recommend those with sensitive skin or those who are irritated by glycerin and fragrance in products not use this product for bubble baths. Personally, I didn't have any kind of allergic reactions to this but those with sensitive skin or skin conditions should use with caution. Although, there are some great features when it comes to the ingreidents of this product. It is free of parabens, sodium chloride, phthalates, GMO's, mineral oil, petrolatum, gluten, and triclosan.

This bath and shower gel is fairly thin with a velvety and creamy consistency. I love the silkiness of this product and that fact that it doesn't feel sticky or greasy. I also like that even though it's on the thin side it's not runny or watery. The pop top cap makes it easy to pour, but it does kind of come out quickly.

The lightly scented bath and shower gel has a very sweet smell to it, and smells like vanilla with a slight hint of coconut. I usually don't prefer sweeter scents when choosing a body wash but I love anything and everything that smells like vanilla cake. I also usually like a strong smelling body wash but since this body wash is on the sweet side, I actually appreciated the fact that it wasn't overwhelming. The smell also fades away really fast, before I even get out of the shower I can't smell it anymore. I can slightly smell it on my skin for a short while after my shower, but I really have to sniff my skin to really smell it. This product truly smells incredible, almost good enough to eat...but don't!

Performance wise this product does exactly what it's supposed to do. As a body wash the smell lasts as you bathe, if you want something stronger I would suggest also using the body lotion. I love that this body wash doesn't leave a residue like other soaps do. It made my skin feel soft and smooth after every use and didn't feel harsh at all. Even though this body wash didn't leave my skin feeling dry, itchy or flaky, my skin didn't feel particularly moisturized or hydrated either. Personally, I like my body wash to be rich and foamy but I don't find that this lathers as well as some other body washes I've owned in the past. So, if you're like me you will find that a small amount of product doesn't really go a long way and you might use a lot of product in one use to get more of a lather. And while it can be used for bubble baths, you'll probably have to use a lot of product for a bubbly, bubble bath. Also, I did notice that you get more of a lather when using a loofah rather than when using a washcloth.

Cake Desserted Island Bath and Shower Froth comes in a 17.4 oz. bottle with one of those lids where you press down on one side to pop it open. It's very easy to use and I have had no issues with leaking of any kind. This product is 100% discreet and would make a great gift for a friend or family member. And while it is suitable for travel, I would recommend getting the travel size kit since it is a lot more suitable for traveling purposes.
