Bunny High Five!
Maybe you are a sensation junkie, maybe you want to unwind after a hard day, or maybe you just want to add a little luxury to your everyday play. Either way, this rabbit fur mitt is a simple yet genius way to add that extra soft touch. It is a well made toy, though it's important to realize that bunny fur is vulnerable to staining or shedding, so treat it with care.

Pros
Soft and sensual, high quality, easy to use, inexpensive
Cons
Difficult to clean
Aww, another rabbit in the bedroom. Except this one doesn't buzz and you don't have to feed it batteries.
The Entrenue Rabbit fur mitt arrived with no exterior bag or packaging, just a tag. As mentioned in the description, the white mitt you see in the picture isn't necessarily the color of mitt that you get. I was hoping for a nice salt and pepper color like the one in the video, and that's exactly what I got. It's shape is like an oven mitt with no thumb, just two equally sized pieces sewn together with one central seam. The bottom edge of the mitt is lined with matching brown fabric. The stitching that I can see is very clean and the edges sewn together on the inside have no gaps or weak spots that I can feel. Overall I'm satisfied with the quality of construction.
The fur is nice and thick, and the interior pelt is very smooth to the touch. It feels amazing against skin, especially sensitive areas like the inner thighs and stomach. It feels best when you stroke with the grain of the fur, but it's hard to go wrong. I love using it during a nice relaxing massage (bunny backrubs!) or sliding it over a similarly sized paddle (bunny paddle!) for some light spanking. It's also great for mixing it up during sensation play or aftercare after a long corporal punishment session. It's an excellent toy for beginners and a nice change of pace for heavy players.
It's about 9.5" long and 5.5" wide. It will fit most hands and still be comfortably roomy, and if you can't fit your entire hand inside, you can wear it on four fingers and keep your thumb on the outside. The opening doesn't stretch, so it could tear if you try to force your hand inside. Bunny fur isn't the most durable material, so if you rub too roughly it will probably get some bald spots. I store it in a plastic ziplock bag and haven't noticed any shedding so far, though I'd expect it'll happen over time.
Obviously this is not a vegan or PETA friendly product, and some consumers will no doubt have reservations about using a toy made from the fur of a cute and cuddly animal. Personally I love rabbits, but I also eat meat and use plenty of animal products (leather, anyone?) so owning rabbit fur isn't a far leap to make. I do oppose animal cruelty and support companies that treat animals well and kill them humanely, so I would like to know more about where this pelt originally came from. I tried looking for this information online and have not found it so far. It would be a good idea for Entrenue to tell potential buyers whether or not this is a cruelty-free product so that they can make an informed decision.
Fur is not easily cleaned, certainly not with the usual home cleaning methods. If you happen to have the resources to clean fur, be my guest, but for most of us I would guess that it's going to be more trouble than it's worth. This is one of those cases where an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Try to make sure your hands are clean before you use this mitt. The same goes for any area you will be stroking with it. Don't let it come in contact with massage oils, lotion, or copious amounts of bodily fluid. Don't get it wet and definitely don't submerge it in water. Store it away from mold and mildew.

Follow-up commentary
5 months after original review
The bunny fur mitt is holding up well. It's definitely not an everyday toy. I think it's best saved for especially stressful days or special occasions. It's still one of my favorite sensation toys.
