Brown Sugar How Come You Taste So Good?
I was excited to try my first scrub and for the most part I am pleased with this one. I have nothing to compare it with though so I would like to try others to see if they leave my lips feeling moisturized. This one did not.

Exfoliates lips, Smells good
Cons
Chapped lips after, Price for what you get
I had never used a scrub before ordering this product. I had always wanted to but I'm not one to make my own and had never bothered searching for one while shopping. My lips tend to collect dead skin and it's a real pain sometimes. Whenever I try to wear lipstick it ends up looking awful if I forget to take care of the dead skin first. I was finally sick and tired of the problem and decided to try to counteract it with a scrub.
Like I said, I have never used a scrub other than this one so I can't really compare it to any other experiences and this review is based solely on this product. When I first applied it I loved the smell and it didn't taste too bad either. I also have a bad habit of licking my lips, hence the awful dead skin outcome. I used a lip brush to apply it but if you don't have one handy it's easy to use your finger too. However, I prefer a brush because not only is it less messy, it also is healthier since you won't be transferring germs from your finger directly to your mouth. After applying it and waiting a bit for it to do it's magic I wiped it off my lips and voilà: no more dead skin! I was very pleased with the result, although my lips felt a bit chapped afterward. It was worth the removal of the dead skin. The pot is fairly small, especially for the price. I think next time I may just try to make my own. It's not quite the satisfying "brown sugar" Mick Jagger sang about but it gets the job done.
Before using this product make sure to read the ingredients to see if you have any allergies to any of the substances, especially glycerin.
