Bathing In Purple

This bath additive in Acai is nice for relaxing in a purple bath, however, the scent is almost unbareably sweet.

Use

Chromotherapy is used to treat different ailments through various colors, so System Jo has created this bath oil in different colors and scents to effect your mood. You just add a few cap fulls of this liquid to your bath and the water will change color.

This is water based but it does contain a little bit of oil. The ingredients are: Purified Water (Aqua), Fragrance, PPG-25 Buteth-26, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexlglycerin, May Contain: FD&C Red #40, FD&C Green #4, FD&C Yellow #5, FD&C Yellow #6, FD#C Blue #1.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This bath oil is very liquidy, it basically has the same consistency as water. If you pour it on your hands, it’ll give your skin a purple color if you have the Acai scent. It has a push tab cap for easy dispensing, so it will pour out very fast.

Taste / Aroma

The scent is almost unbareably sweet. It doesn’t remind me of any flowers, but it smells like fruit punch juce. It makes the water a nice purple color, but it didn’t have any effect on my mood from what I could notice. In fact, I found it a bit strange, but it was nice to try something new. Only the water stays purple, so you won’t look like some sort of purple alien upon completion of your bath.

Performance

You get just over 4 ounces of liquid, so using a 2 to 3 cap fulls per bath is only going to give you about 4 or 5 baths at best. It’s nice if you are looking to add some color to a bath, but there is no real moisturizing effects from this product specifically.

Purple is said to treat the crown of the head, effecting things like the pituitary gland, the central nervous system and the cerebral cortex. The smell actually gave me a headache so I couldn’t bathe in this very long, but it really is up to the individual person whether this will work for you or not.
Follow-up commentary
I'm likely not going to try this again but I got quite a few baths out of it. The effect was weird and interesting and something I don't normally do with my baths. It's a really good product to uplift your mood but it's not going to do much else.

I've always found Acai scents to be too strong for me. I might have to try this in a different scent. Thanks for the review
