Looking for a clitoral stimulating product that gives a lighter, less intense cooling sensation with the extra pleasure of tingling as well? Try Flower balm and you just might have found your match. New to clitoral products like this and looking to try something for the first time but don't want to be overwhelmed? You've met your match! But if you're a pro/advanced clitoral stimulating user like me, this balm will probably be a bomb for you.
Flower body balm is a product designed to stimulate the clitoris by increasing blood flow and intensifying sensation which can lead to quicker and stronger orgasms. Only a small amount is needed and it's pretty convenient to apply by rubbing your finger into the tin until the desired amount is on your finger tip. Apply to your clitoris by rubbing it in until it is absorbed. Not limited to just being a clitoral stimulating balm, this balm can also be used on your nipples to experience a nice, light cooling sensation. There is a male version of this called "Rocket Balm" and the ingredient list is almost identical so I'm sure that men could also benefit from the sensations caused by this product.
Flower balm feels slick but not greasy or oily. It has the same consistency as many lip balms that come packaged in similar tins and it goes on the same way as well. It absorbs quickly and feels pretty natural. As I was massaging it in I could feel the light cooling sensation and once it was absorbed, the tingling sensation could be felt as well. It didn't leave any uncomfortable residue and washed off easily with soap and water.
I know that the ingredient list mentions citrus as the fragrance but it was very light and not as noticeable as the scent of peppermint. The scent is similar to many other clitoral stimulating products that I have tried: nice and light, not overpowering and by no means is it unpleasant. It has a definite peppermint smell, not spearmint and the closest example I could give is that it smells like a candy cane. As for taste, this product is not flavored because it isn't meant to be edible. I did a taste test anyways because I don't think that ingesting a small amount would cause any harm. It tasted lightly of peppermint and made my tongue feel cool but since it is wax based with oils in the ingredients list, the texture didn't feel great on my tongue.
Flower balm seemed to last approximately 10 minutes for me and after that the effects completely disappeared. I would've like it to last longer but this was actually one of the first clitoral stimulating products that I tried so I was happy with it at the time. The cooling sensation was light and the tingling wasn't overpowering or distracting. I didn't feel the need to instantly wash this off after the sensation wore off because it felt natural after I massaged it in and it had completely absorbed by that time. Soap and water does wash this product off easily and it does clean up nicely off of toys. The tingling feeling is felt more on the clitoris along with the cooling sensation but when used on the nipples only the cooling sensation is felt.
My tin of Flower balm is a smaller size that isn't available on Eden and it did not come in a box, it's just a tin that contains the product. Flower balm is packaged in a small tin with the ingredients listed on the back and the product logo on the front label. The lid can be removed by twisting it off or pushing under the lip of the lid upwards and popping the lid off. Although I have a smaller tin that did not come in a box, the edges of the tin had a plastic seal that I had to break before opening. The tin is small and discreet, perfect for travel too! You wouldn't know what it was at a quick glance, the way that it is packaged is identical to many lip glosses and unless someone knew what it was, they would probably assume that that's what it was. The one problem that I have had with Flower balm has been that the package will leak if it gets knocked over onto its side. I have had this happen and in the warmer weather this product will sweat with beads of oil that sit on the surface inside the tin. When it wasn't stored upright or was bumped, the oil does leak out and make a mess so be sure to store this in cooler temperatures and upright at all times!
Flower balm is cooling and tingling and both of those sensations are felt soon after massaging this product into the clitoral area. The cooling sensation can be felt on the nipples as well but the tingling sensation was not felt in that area. A similar product by the same company is made for men called "Rocket Balm" and the ingredient list is almost identical to that of Flower balm. Flower balm can be used by men as well to experience the cooling and tingling sensation because aside from very few ingredients, the main difference between Flower and Rocket balm is the packaging. Flower balm is not a lubricant though and should not be used as such, it is also not latex friendly so please avoid contact with latex when using this product! The only allergy concern that I can see would be to mention that this does contain almond oil so if you are allergic to nut products you may want to skip this one! This clitoral stimulating balm is marketed as all natural, it's beeswax based and lightly scented.
This product contains menthol and methyl paraben, the ingredient list is as follows:
I'm rating this 4/5 even though it's no longer my favorite. The reason for this is because it was one of the first clitoral stimulating products that I tried and at the time, I loved the stuff! The first product similar to this that I tried was a gel and it was far too strong for me so it did scare me off for awhile.
After I tried Flower balm I found myself wishing that I had tried this first. It was the perfect introduction into the world of clitoral stimulating products because it was lighter and gave me both the cooling and tingling sensation that I was looking for. I didn't overwhelm me and I didn't feel the need to run and wash it off like I did with the first gel that I tried. It gave me quicker, stronger orgasms which impressed me even further that a stimulating product didn't need to feel overwhelming to get the job done!
The funny thing is, quite awhile later I went back to the first gel that I tried that had originally been too strong for me and now although it's not my favorite, I do use it from time to time. I've always liked intensity, I like toys with full power vrooms and I thought that I would like that with my clitoral products but it turned out to be slow and steady wins the race.
I was scared off by the stronger products but still curious enough to give ones like Flower balm a chance and I'm glad that I did. It's a perfect starting point for an introduction into clitoral stimulating products. Not only is it not overwhelming, it's packaged conveniently and discreetly with several purposes.
I would recommend this to anyone wanting to try something like this but not knowing where to start or not knowing what you like. Try out flower balm and if you find yourself feeling underwhelmed, let yourself graduate to something more intense. Dip your toes into the pool before you jump right in!
As I had mentioned, this was one of my first clitoral stimulating products. It did the trick for awhile until I found my one true love (Tickle Her Pink) but for awhile, Flower balm had higher ranking in my toy box. If I were to run out of my favorites tomorrow, I'd temporarily go back to Flower balm. Since I've learned that I like much stronger products, I don't really bother with Flower balm anymore. That being said, during the time that I used Flower balm, I liked it enough that I almost hit bottom with it and used it enough that I could almost see the bottom of the tin! Under similar products I have included some of my other favorite clitoral stimulating products!
Follow-up commentaryI don't like it anymore2 months after original review
I don't like this one anymore but only because I have since found similar products that perform better. This balm is great for anyone looking for a clitoral stimulating product or to just try something new. If you have already tried several clitoral stimulating products, this one may not wow you.

Thanks for this Review. I may still be interested in the Shunga secret garden which you wrote about earlier. It is on my wish list! Do you think I am going wrong with that choice? Thanks for sharing Kate.
