Use

These are beginner-friendly clamps which satisfied my curiosity about what that kind of play might feel like. They're adjustable and latex-tipped, which makes them less threatening than other options, but I agree that those looking for pain-as-pleasure might be disappointed.

Material / Texture

The metal feels like metal, and the latex is soft without being spongy. I failed to detect any smell, and they gave the impression of quality. The connecting chain feels heavy, adding to a sense of nervous anticipation before the first use.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

I liked that these clamps are adjustable, and I liked the soft latex even more. The adjustments were easy to make, and while at first I wasn't keen on the chain connecting them, I soon realized that it could be useful for gentle tugging.

Functions / Performance / Controls

I am not a fan of any type of nipple stimulation. I prefer my breasts when they're not drawing any attention to themselves at all, and when anything rubs or pinches them they tend to get unpleasantly itchy, rather than feeling anything I'd classify as arousal. These clamps did nothing to change my mind, although adjusted loosely they didn't cause me significant pain, nor did they fall off, so I can't fault the clamps.

I bought these due to a piece of erotica I read that involved a clit clamp, and since I wasn't brave enough to get intimate with a clothespin, I decided to buy these. If there's any warning on the package not to do that, I ignored it, and plunged ahead with my experiment.

With extreme care, I applied a clamp adjusted to its loosest setting, and the gentle pressure felt very nice. I read enough on BDSM safety to know not to leave it on long enough to induce numbness, and to be extremely careful of pinching the skin. That's not really a location where I'd want a blister. So if you choose to do the same thing with these, please keep safety firmly in mind.

Adjusted just short of causing pain, one of these clamps focused my attention on my body, and in particular on the throbbing sensation the clamp induced. I felt much more sensitive when I took it off and played with other toys.

I'm not at all into pain, so I didn't test the limits of these clamps, but they helped me satisfy my curiosity about that kind of play, and I'm sure others will enjoy using them for creative play with or without a partner.

Care and Maintenance

Soap and water should be sufficient, but take care to make sure they are dry before storage. They fit nicely into a small satin drawstring bag I bought at the free trade store, and if found they could in theory pass as an eyeglass cord or purse strap, or some other innocent piece of hardware.

Packaging

The packaging was mostly harmless and not particularly wasteful. Plus points for a lack of breasts on the package. Not that I have anything in particular against breasts, but they do make a package more tricky to recycle.
Follow-up commentary
To be honest, I rarely touch these, but they still look new and aren't causing any particular grief as they sit in the toy box, so it would be unjust to blame them for my lack of interest. I'm just not into the type of play that requires them. I considered using them as an eyeglass cord for my reading glasses, but I almost never wear my reading glasses, so I never did figure out if that would work. They did come in handy when when super-gluing a piece of broken pottery, so perhaps I should move them into the hardware drawer.

Nice to know that even on the loose settings you had no trouble with them coming off. Even on the tighter settings, I could not get them to stay on AT ALL.

@ Britni -- They looked to me like they'd slip off, but they withstood all the tugging I was willing to attempt. Maybe I didn't attempt enough. I certainly didn't wander around the house in them or anything. Have you tried putting a little corn starch on the vinyl? I would think that might decrease the slipperiness just enough to make a difference -- that was a solution I used for a product of an entirely different nature (not a sex toy) once.

Very nice review, for some reason I think these look painful, but glad you liked them Smile

I've got a babydoll chemise thing that I reviewed a little while ago and I'm in the same situation with you almost for a follow up. There's nothing about the product itself that's bad, it just doesn't fit me the way I wanted it to.

But thank you for your honesty, and for the review Smile
