Essentially this product is made to be drizzled on your partner's body, on whatever parts you choose, and licked off. We found that it works amazingly for enhancing oral sex, and for teasing your partner during foreplay! On the bottle it also recommends adding it to tea or filling fresh berries, which are things you must try if you purchase the Love Nectar. The Love Nectar comes in a handy bottle with a pump, so you can squirt it directly onto your partners "tempting places" without getting your hands sticky, however you can also unscrew the cap and use the pump tube to apply it.

This product is not intended to be used as a lubricant, and I don't really see how you could, given the thickness of it. Sugary substances like honey can cause yeast infections and UTIs, it would be in your best interest to use this product externally and orally only, keep it out of the vagina! However if you really wanted to, this product would be safe for anal use, as the ingredients are all completely natural and non-irritating. I'd imagine that this would actually work very nicely for rimming, but the thickness probably wouldn't work great for anal lube.

With the ingredients being mostly honey and some essential oils, the consistency is much like a slightly watered down honey. It's thick enough to not drip off of your partner immediately (like a thin massage oil), but is thin enough to run a little on uneven places. We like to put lines of single drops on areas like the adonis lines/hip bones, sternum, and inner thighs. Applying it in lines of drops guarantees no dripping even if there's movement happening. When used in tea (as recommended on the bottle), it dissolves quickly leaving behind the wonderful sweetness and light flavor of the oils, no sugar crystals to stick to the bottom of the cup or undissolved chunks.

The taste is nothing short of irresistible. The "Mandarin Spice" flavor's ingredients:

The raw honey makes the thickness and sweetness of the mix. Damiana infused in the honey creates a mild aphrodisiac that has been used for centuries since damiana is a natural aromatase inhibitor, keeping the body from converting extra testosterone into estrogen, increasing one's sex drive. The distilled water keeps the mixture from being too thick, if you've ever used completely raw honey I'm sure you'd agree, it's too thick by itself for this type of use. The essential oils aren't quite as noticeable when you smell it, but you can taste them pretty well. They're not overpowering at all, just a light flavor note that I personally love. A teaspoon will give you a light sweetness and flavor that enhances just about any kind of tea, and this may sound odd, but it works well in coffee too! The bottle also recommends trying it on fresh berries, I'm tempted to try it on apples as well.

Performance wise, this product does what it's meant for, and we really appreciate that it has multiple tasty uses. With regular use of a teaspoon or two a few times a week, this bottle should last you a few months. We like to apply it for oral sex and foreplay, and we've never had a problem with it becoming sticky as long as we lick it off. If you leave it on, it IS mostly honey, and will become rather sticky. This is easily remedied with a warm wet towel and possibly a little soap if it's a bad spill or large puddle.

The bottle came in a regular shipping box with some brown crumpled paper padding, there was no product specific package covering the bottle. The bottle itself is dark brown glass, used with many herbal mixtures to protect the ingredients from sunlight since it can damage the effectiveness and flavor of the product. The lid is a pump top with a clear plastic lid to protect from spills. Our bottle unfortunately came with a weak pump tube, air keeps getting in and preventing the pump from putting out very much nectar. We found it was just fine for applying single drops of the nectar, but if we want more we simply remove the cap and use the tube itself to apply it.

The packaging is rather discreet, I can't imagine someone recognizing it as a sexual product unless they read the whole label. It could easily pass off as a lotion or hand cream when mixed in with other bottles, and is small enough for safe traveling.

The special features of the Love Nectar would definitely be the aphrodisiac properties of the damiana! However, don't expect the mixture to have an intense effect immediately while using it. Herbal mixtures like this take multiple uses and a bit of time to take effect, if you use it regularly over several days you will notice a difference if you are in tune with your body.

I personally love this product, the variety of uses, natural ingredients and the wonderful flavor really win me over. I can't keep this stuff away from me, I've been eating little bits of it straight since I got it in the mail!
