This is me and my partner's second massage candle. Over all, it was a great success like our first one! We are still dabbling in different massage candles to find the perfect combination for us.

We tend to use the massage candle for me since I have bad back problems. My partner used it on my back to help ease the muscles. It is rather relaxing and very sensual when you are the one on the receiving end of it.

This would make for a great gift for a friend, a bridal gift, or even for someone who professionally gives others massages!

We noticed that this candle was quite smooth, even velvet-like when you touch it. Like our other massage candle we ordered, The Shunga massage candle (vanilla), it had started to melt. We had bought both of them in the same order, but we were surprised to find out our candles were melting when we opened our box. When we noticed the candles were melting, we stuck them in the fridge to help prevent it from helping. We no longer have that problem anymore and are able to leave our candles out without fear of them melting. I'm not too sure as to why it was melting, but I don't think it's a common thing to happen so you shouldn't have to worry about it happening to you.

We got the Cucumber Water massage candle. We were at first going to get the vanilla one, but it went out of stock just as we were ordering it, so instead we ended up taking a chance on an aroma we have never tried before. Luckily we ended up liking the scent, but it was still a big risk considering the the price of this candle. I can say it's not our favorite scent, and we tend not to turn to it as our first choice, but it's still an over all great massage candle. When we lit up our candle, it took a little while for the smell to really take effect, but once it did, it smelt pretty pleasant! It wasn't all that overpowering. Rather, it was relaxing and calming for the soul. And once you are done receiving the massage, it will leave you feeling rejuvenated!

When you first light this candle, it takes quite a while to really heat up and melt the wax. It takes a good hour to really have a good amount of wax to use for a massage.

One of the sad things about this candle is that it didn't come with a spoon or brush to help in applying the was; instead we had to pour it straight from the candle witch was a little tricky. Once you get the wax applied to the person's skin, you need to be a little swift in how you go about applying it because by the time you get a good enough amount on the persons skin, it begins to dry up. I didn't care for how fast it dried up on me and didn't care for how often I had to re-apply it!

However, the wax does dries nicely into the skin. While rubbing the wax into the skin, it does feel a bit oily on your hands so, after giving the massage you will have to go wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water in order to be rid of the oily feel.

The packaging for this candle was very slick and simple. If you didn't know any better from the packaging, you would think it's just another candle from the store. Your first thought wouldn't be, "Oh, this is from a sex shop." If you don't want to use the candle you can store the candle in the box, or you could recycle the box and leave it sitting out in the open since like I said, it looks like an everyday candle. You won't have to worry about people.



The box had lots of great information on it and looked very elegant. When you open the box, you find the candle nested within it.
