A Sweet, Relaxing Night
Though this candle does have a good bit of positive aspects, I wish it was a little bit bigger, that it did not take so long to melt down and that it didn't dry too fast once applied. But overall, I do have to say, I love this candle and I do believe you will, too.

I highly enjoy this soy base candle. It is very soothing and the smell is very soft, (maybe a little too soft in the blue lotus scent). Over all, this is a good buy and I did very much enjoy the fact that it is a naturalyl based candle. The ingredients include: glycine soja wax, hydrogenated vegetable oil, vitis vinifera(Grape) oil, laminaria digitata(algae)extract, nymphaea caerulea(blue lotus)flower and fragrance. I looked up these ingredients and saw that all, except the fragrance, is natural and I completely adore this. I know most, if not all, ladies like to know what they are putting on their skin. In my opinion, none of these ingredients will be harmful if swallowed or inserted, unless it is a large amount. As for the fragrance, there is no real way of knowing what kind it is, as it is not stated on the package, or on the container.
The feel was wonderful, though it did take a longer amount of time for it to heat up and it does dry rather fast, but that can be overlooked during the application. It did not have the waxy feeling like most massage candles I have tried and it very much left my skin smooth afterwards, which can lead to a "happy ending". My husband enjoyed this, too. Like most men, he is a wee bit hairy, (more than he will admit), but he also enjoyed the feeling and we think because it is more natural than most massage candles, it didn't get all gloppy in his body hair, so, no turn off's, which is a wonderful thing. I do think wax play is a wonderful foreplay method and with this candle, it is not as messy as most. I do believe this will last us a good while. You shouldn't use it all the time, it is not a lotion. I have seen some who do wax play more than they should and well, I think it negatively affects their skin. I have not used a soy base candle before, but as always, too much of a good thing is bad.
You can use this all over your body and it feels great. I do not think it would be wise to use as a lube, though it is gentle and smooth. I do believe there could be health risk, so I would keep this candle for external use only. I saw in a post that if you do happen to use it as an external lube, I think a good wash with warm soapy water will help remove it afterwards.
It took about 10 mins. for it to get melted down to a point where we could use it, as we like it to stay warm until it hits the skin. It dried within seconds after applying which is not always a good thing. You do have to use a little bit more than a normal candle. There was no burning or itching like some candles. The Blue Lotus scent has a light, flowery smell to it. I wouldn't mind if it was a little stronger, but overall, I adore the smell and it's very relaxing. The feel is soft and it does glide on once you get going, though I believe it should do that from the start.
As for the application, this did not come with a spoon, which probably would have made it easier to use, but a plastic spoon or baby spoon works just as well. Though for $9.99, I do think it should come with some kind of spoon. I would buy this again and probably will in the near future.
