A Slick Shave
I'd recommend this product to anyone that needs a good shave, no matter their gender. You get a lot of gel for your money (you probably won't use it up quickly) and it prevents a lot of nasty nicks and irritation. My only complaint is that the smell lingers so long that I can't wear my usual colognes. I was expecting a very poor product but I am happy to say that Dona's shaving gel is very much a success.

Cons
Smell can clash with perfumes and cologne
When I ordered this, I was admittedly not sure I'd like the smell or the texture of the gel. I'm more accustomed to 'masculine' smelling, grocery store shaving foam. I'm glad to say that I'm very pleased with this--texture, smell, and all. It is as it advertises: "indecently smooth". The paraban-free, petroleum derivative-free, and most importantly, cruelty-free gel goes on slick and slippery. It actually reminds me of the consistency of a lubricant I used once (but don't get any ideas, it's for external use only).
It comes in a 9.5oz/269g bottle, a nice cylindrical shape that is easily held in the hand, even when hands are wet. The packaging is simple but effective. The black cap clicks open like on lotion bottles. I had mine in boxes for a while because I was moving and despite laying on its side, the contents never leaked.
The gel itself is made out of purified water (Aqua), sodium lauryl ether sulfate (a surfacant), glycerin (moisturizer, for sensitive skin), isopropyl alcohol (to decrease the thickness of the gel), poly sorbate 20 (oil dispersant), aloe barbadensis leaf extract (aloe vera), carbomer (for consistency), hydroxyethyl cellulose (probably for viscosity), phenoxyethanol (for shelf-life), and fragrance. It's colourless, nearly transparent. It claims to be aphrodisiac-infused, but if it is, I didn't notice.
The gel doesn't lather at all, you just wet your face and slap it on. It has a pleasant odour, one that I can't readily describe (I tried 'goji berry', it's very fruity). I found that the gel works on all-over leaving no irritation. However, make sure you wash well after shaving, it leaves your skin tacky. The scent is also so strong that it can over-power or mingle with colognes and perfume, so while I would say the product is for all people, I wouldn't advise you to use it with other fragrances. It mixes very poorly with musk colognes.

Experience
I personally use this product more on my face than any other place. I'm able to shave my entire face on one go, using very little gel at all. I've found that the gel must have some hair-growth inhibitor in it because after the first time (trying it on my legs, arms, underarms, etc), the hair was slow to return to those areas.
Follow-up commentary
25 days after original review
I've had this for a while now and I've barely used any of it. It's not that I don't like it, it's that a little bit goes a pretty long way. I've noticed that I have a lack of hair growth in the places that I use it most often. I would still recommend this product to anyone and everyone, it lasts much longer and is much more effective than typical shaving foam or canned gel.
