A Night to bRemembered
If you are ready to bSatisfied, you would do well to get the bWarm. I can't speak to the other scents, but the Figwood has a masculine scent suitable for use on a man. The oil is perfect for long sensuous massages. The holder is well-designed for both its intended purpose and as regular candle holder. There is nothing not to like about the bWarm.

Pros
Long slip time, Slow rate of absorption, great scent
Cons
Spout is not flexible
I ordered the BWarm Figwood Massage Candle a while ago along with a few other massage products (the JimmyJane Cucumber Water Afterglow Massage Candle, Contour M, and Contour + Beyond Sensory Set. Unfortunately with all the holiday hub-bub and life in general, we had not had the time to give them a try. Well last night, in front of our fireplace, we finally had the chance. What a beautiful and fragrant night!
While I cannot describe exactly what ‘Figwood’ smells like, it is a slightly masculine scent that is rich, somewhat spicy, and with a hint of soap (think Ivory). It is not terribly overpowering and while there may be a floral undertone, it is not flowery by any means. In all, it smells great and is not something I minded at all being rubbed into my skin (Mrs. Peg got treated to the Cucumber Water, but that is a different story and a different review!). I found the it nice that the smell lingered both in the air and on my skin long after my massage was finished.
The candle itself comes in what I thought was a flexible pourable spout. This dark pink candle holder is, in fact, a well designed vessel for pouring the warm oil. It is, however, not in the least bit flexible. I really thought it was made from silicone. Turns out it is made from some hard(ish) plastic with a nice ‘velvet cote’-like finish. This light texturing makes it very easy to hold onto even with slippery hands. The holder measures about 4 and ¾ inches tall on the spout side, and 1 and ¾ inches on the lower side. It is about 2.75 inches across. When lit, the holder glows very nicely. This could easily be left out on a side table or nightstand and it would just look like an interestingly designed candle holder.
The other really amazing feature of the holder is that it is somewhat spill-proof. Provided that you don’t melt the entire candle at once, and you don’t put it down upside down, the spout will hold all of the oil. There are two bumps, one on each side, that keep the candle from rolling away. There is also a flat spot on the spout side that will allow the holder to be put down safely on its side. If you are somewhat off-center, the bumps will rock the holder back to the flat spot and the whole thing will right itself. How cool is that?!
To convert the candle to a massage oil, simply light the wick and let it burn long enough to create a melt pool. Once you have the desired amount of oil, blow the candle out and pour. The base waxes have a very low melting point so the temperature of the oil is deliciously warm without being too hot. (The necessary caveats are that you should not order this in the dead of summer if you won’t be home to receive your package and you need to store this away from heat sources.) As a massage oil, it is absolute perfect. The slip is long lasting, the absorption rate is slow, and it leaves your skin feeling wonderfully hydrated. Honestly, I lost track of time, but it seemed like a good 5-7 minutes were going by between pours.
The bWarm is made from high quality, natural, cosmetic-grade waxes and plant extracts. These include: coconut oil/wax, soy oil/was, shea butter, palm wax, jojoba oil, aloe vera, vitamin e oil, and fragrance. The stated quantity is 1.84 ounces with a burn time of 10 hours. Of course, if you are pouring the fuel all over someone’s back and backside, that burn time is going to be less.
We had a very nice, relaxing, enjoyable time with the bWarm and we think everyone else will too. This is really a great product.

Follow-up commentary
15 days after original review
Mrs. Peg treated me to a Boxing Day massage and I must say that I am still quite fond of this candle. The scent has remained in the wax and was released with when melted. I was worried that it might fade with time, but that is not the case.
