A Nearly Perfect Splash for All Parts of You
Sliquid Splash is a lovely feminine wash. It comes in a chubby little bottle, with a rocker type flip top lid for easy access. The product is free from most irritating agents, hypo-allergenic and not tested on animals. Completely non-irritating to most woman's feminine regions. A nearly perfect body, facial and intimate area cleanser.

Pros
Gentle, suds and cleans well, can be used on face, non-toxic
Cons
not the best for use as a shaving product
While looking for a good body friendly cleaning product and loving Sliquid’s lubricants, I decided that Sliquid Splash Gentle Feminine Body Wash would be a good product to try.
I have myriad allergies and tend toward vaginal infections and UTIs. I usually stay away from most scented soaps and detergents, (but seem to be able to tolerate at least one fragrance from Bath and Body Works) so I purchased the Unscented form of Splash.
The ingredients are few (for a body detergent) and many of the constituents are made from coconut oil and seem to be very body friendly.
Ingredients
Purified H2O, Sodium Coco sulfate, Coco betaine, Coco amide (derived from coconut oil), Sea salt, Citric acid, EGMS, DMDM hydantoin
Sodium Coco sulfate is a type of surfactant, which are what allow shampoos and other detergents to create suds, break surface tension and clean better, SCS is a more healthy alternative to the more common sodium laurel sulfate or sodium laureth sulfate. Both forms of SLS have been accused of breaking down into dangerous chemicals in large amounts, but Sodium Coco Sulfate, which is made from coconut oil, is not implicated in these problems.
Coco betaine is also a surfactant, which serves not only as an emulsifying agent, causing products to become thicker, but also works as a mild antiseptic and appears to rarely irritate tissues the way some other chemicals used in body and hair cleaning products can do to some people. Also from coconut.
Coco amide is a detergent and surfactant, made from coconut fat, which also breaks down surface tension in order to break up dirt and contaminants and help a product clean better.
EGMS is a chemical which I found hard to get data on. It appears to be an alternative to more toxic chemicals used in cleaning products and helps detergents work better with less toxicity. It also increases viscosity of the product. It is known to be safe for us around people and animals.
DMDM hydantoin is a common preservative used in cosmetics, soaps, shampoos and body products. It prevents the growth of fungus, bacteria, mold, and other micro-organisms. It is also the preservative used in other Sliquid Sexual Lubricants and works well with no irritation.
The Sea Salt and Citric Acid, I assume, are present in the product for PH balance and buffering purposes. Obviously, the H2O is there as the base of the product.
I found Sliquid Splash to be very gentle, yet it cleans thoroughly with no burning, itching or tenderness. The scent is negligibly detectable; it barely even smells like most other unscented soaps and detergents. (A soap is usually made from animal fats, surfactants etc and detergents are similar, but made from different, usually non-animal ingredients, which still break surface tension to release dirt and bacteria.)
I simply open the flip top of the plastic bottle; squeeze the plastic bottle and pour a little onto my body puff and wash. It suds easily and rinses away with no trouble, leaving no residue behind. Although this product is formulated and targeted at a woman’s “feminine” areas, it can be used as a total body wash. I usually use whatever is left on my puff for other parts of my body. I also, before washing my “feminine region” will wash my face with this product.

Experience
As I have gotten a little older, I found most soaps tend to dry out and tighten my face. Sliquid Splash cleans my face of any traces of make up, dirt and oil without causing a tight feeling or causing my face to become flaky or dry.
I have used it, when left on the body puff, as a shaving soap, but it is a bit to delicate for this. Blended with my regular B&BW body wash, it seems to work OK for shaving. Usually, though, a thicker, more heavy cleanser works better to lubricate for shaving.
The product is a pearly white color, and is about the viscosity of a light shampoo and a bit more watery than many body washes. It cleans nicely, leaves no aroma of its own and is gentle enough for even my allergy prone body to feel comfortable with daily use of this product.
The company says the product has not been subjected to animal testing, is glycerin and fragrance free, is hypo-allergenic and non-toxic and is PH balanced “to compliment a woman’s PH.”
Not only does it work well as a feminine cleanser (which I have never purchased before, mostly due to cost and to the myriad chemical soup and fragrance that most contain) but I was greatly surprised that it works so well as a facial cleanser. And a good deal less expensive than specialized cleansers from makers like L’Oreal or Olay.
I enjoy using this product (and the feminine look of the product and the words “feminine wash” keeps My Man, who usually just grabs whatever he can to wash, away from the bottle) but the 8.5 oz seems to be holding up well, as the product goes a long way. (Or, in his words "EW, pussy cleaner!" Poetic, the Man is.)
I have no doubt that I will buy an other bottle, most likely of the unscented version, when this close to being used up. I am not a fan of most scents in body cleaning products, so I am going to stick with the unscented version of this product. The product also comes in Grapefruit/Thyme and Cucumber Honeydew.

Follow-up commentary
5 months after original review
I still use Sliquid Splash on a regular basis. My bottle is almost empty and I will probably order an other bottle with my next order. It cleans the pubic and anal areas cleanly and with no irritation and lasts a long time. It is also nice for touch ups between showers.
I am still considering whether to buy one of the fragrance infused forms of this wash, but I am pretty sure I will stay with the unscented.
I also still use this product on my face. Most of the time, but especially in the winter months, my face is dry and often irritated. This mild cleanser is not only perfect for cleaning the face, but the price is much more affordable than many facial washes made particularly for dry or irritated skin. It leaves my facial skin soft and clean without drying or redness, it also does not seem to cause breakouts during that time of the month. Many facial cleansers made for "mature" skin tend to add misery to those of us still prone to the occasional menstrual time break out, but Sliquid Splash seems to be pure enough to keep my skin free from break outs.
I highly recommend this for anyone with genitals, and anus and a face!
