Pros
Great Consistency, Scent is Fabulously Divine
Cons
Bottle Can Be Difficult to Squeeze
Okay, so this is going to be the thousandth review on Sliquid Splash Honeydew/Cucumber formula, but I love it so much I want to tell you what my experience has been with it.
I have been prone to infections my entire young adult life, and as I gunned it through my twenties, things only seemed to get worse. Evidently, this was first caused by my lack of knowledge on the quality of sex toy materials and silicone toys weren't really popular when I first got the itch to use dildos and the like. After ditching the materials that were not body-safe, the frequency of infection was drastically reduced.
Occasionally, I would get froggy and jump on a new, heavily scented body wash or lotion or whatever and within a few days, I would regret my decision. Perfumes and dyes were brutal not only on my lady bits but on my skin in general. At bare minimum, I ended up with a yeast infection. (Wonderbread, anyone? Yuck!)
I would reluctantly toss the bottle into the trashcan and lament my purchase while having to keep a horny husband at bay until I could get the infection treated. We would have the same conversation we had the last time and I would rail about the ridiculousness of my sensitive skin.
And then I was turned onto Sliquid Splash. It's a pH balanced formula designed for the genital area. It is hypoallergenic and has vegan-friendly ingredients. The bottle is attractive, with a spearmint green label with the Sliquid logo. If you read the bottle, you'll straight up know that it's feminine wash but at least it doesn't scream "Dirty Vagina" like other highly commercialized brands of feminine care products.
The consistency is that of bath gel. It suds up nicely and I just use my hands to spread it all over my body. One of those bath poofs would probably extend the number of uses you get out of the 8.5 oz bottle.
There is hardly any color to the product at all. It's almost like a pearlescent minty-lime green. The bottle is a little difficult to squeeze in my small hands, but I think in a way this is a good thing because then you don't risk too much coming out at once if you intend to use just a little bit.
And a little bit is all you really need. I am able to wash my entire torso, back and genitals with a quarter-sized drop in the palm of my hand. I could probably shave my legs with that amount if I used a poof, as mentioned above. But, I really don't like those things because they can harbor bacteria.
The scent of this concoction is, in my opinion, divine. I can smell a little bit of the cucumber and a little bit of the honeydew, but what I smell more than that is a keynote of mint. I don't know if this is a byproduct of using coconut and essential oils together, but it works. The scent is just so bright, fresh and clean.
It rinses off without any residue like some other products that use oils and waxes for their base. The scent lingers for just a moment after rinsing off but within thirty minutes, the fragrance has completely dissipated from my skin and I can no longer smell it.
So far, I have not had any issues with this irritating my skin and it has actually reversed some of the problems I was having from the other body washes I've used in the past. My patchy, irritated red skin seems to have finally calmed down. It's really quite nice, if I do say so myself.
I love this stuff and I am so very pleased to have received it! Now, I'm dying to try all of the new fragrances Sliquid has released since partnering with EF. There's a White Tea Pear that really has my interest piqued. I definitely recommend this to anyone who has sensitive skin. The fact that the ingredients are all natural and body safe earns this product 5 stars.

Follow-up commentary
1 month after original review
I got froggy one day and decided I wanted to take a bubble bath and so I dumped about half of the remaining half of the Cucumber Melon into the tub as it filled. It ended up being a waste of time because there weren't a lot of bubbles, but what little there was created a nicely scented bath that made my skin very, very soft.
Since I was then in the need of more product, I decided to get the grapefruit/thyme scented body wash and I have to say that I love it even more than the cucumber. It's just as bright and refreshing, but there's more of a "wake up and get your day started" feeling that I have when I smell this versus the "pamper me and let me lay in bed all day" feeling I have with the cucumber. Now, we just need the white tea pear and I'll be a happy camper!
