The Heart Warmer Massager by Pipe Dreams is the best $8.00 I have spent in years. I saw this item when my hubby and I were starting to get into massaging, and I just knew I had to have it. The massager looked like a great tool to have and use for giving (and receiving) wonderful massages. There are three choices of colors to choose from. I chose the red one, but I really want the purple one too.

When the small box arrived, I eagerly opened it and found this jelly-like heart in the box. The outer covering is plastic but does not have the typical plastic smell which is a nice thing. The heart felt like a little water bottle, only much cuter. The heart fit perfectly in my hand and was just slightly small for my husband's hand. It was the ideal size to use though to be able to rub and massage with.

To activate the warming sensation, you just snap a little metal disc that is inside the heart. Immediately, a warming sensation begins to go through the heart, turning the water-filling into a crystallized jell. As the crystallization takes place, the heart begins to harden so if there is a specific shape you want, this is the time to form it. To keep it more pliable, kneading it between your hands will allow it to be more movable longer. The heat produced by the crystallization is rather warm initially and the heart remains warm for at least a half a hour.

After you get through using the heart, you just let it return to room temperature. Later, when you want to return it to the watery state, all that is required is a pot of boiling water in a non stick pan. I drop mine in the boiling water for 5-6 minutes, then remove it and allow it to cool. It is ready to snap and use again.

This massager is not only for foreplay, it can be used for medical purposes also. We have used it on sore shoulders, neck, and back. My husband has used it on his knee that he injured at work. When the fluid is crystallizing, the heart can be formed to fit around the joint or area that needs the heat.

We have used this massager alone and with oils. I especially like using it with coconut oil. The warmth and the smell together are very relaxing. Our heart has lasted for about a year now with no problems noted. This is a great investment and would be a great present for family and friends.
