I feel that the Hestia Massager is the perfect toy for a beginner or anyone who may not want an intense vaginal toy. This massager did not produce the "powerful vibrations" as stated by the manufacturer but could give nice stimulation and arousal for someone new to the world of toys. This massager would also be good for couples use. It is not intimidating and is very easy to use.

Places for use could be the nipples, clitoris, and vagina. Vagina use can be varied because the toy can provide some nice vaginal stimulation, but the battery compartment is not 100% sealed and moisture can seep inside. The 3 AAA batteries seem like overkill for this beginner toy, and I thought it would produce something stronger than what it does.

I would not personally recommend this toy for anal play. I don't think that with the lack of seal it would be a good idea. This could possibly be a stimulating toy for a man though. It provides a nice vibration that could be used up and down the shaft. The packaging states the toy has 2 inches that are insertable. This would be the balls on either end. I find this statement correct as the toy is not sealed for thrusting or deep penetration.

The material is a hard plastic and is Hypo-allergenic, as well as Latex and Phthalates free. The texture is completely smooth. The seams are basically seamless. The on/off button is slightly sensitive and I would be careful storing this toy in a drawer because it could turn on very easily.

Plastic is non porous, thus bacteria won't thrive inside the material. It also means it'll last longer than other lower ranked materials. It ranks an 8 on the safety scale.

The design of the Hestia Massage is relatively simple. A hard, straight shaft, with 2 balls on each end, one slightly larger than the other. The balls do not move independently. The size is good for someone who is new to toys, does not feel comfortable taking on something larger, or just is looking for moderate stimulation.

This toy has only an on/off feature. There are no controls for slower or faster vibrations. You can feel the vibrations throughout the toy, and it does not specifically generate extra power on one end or the other. The button is a little more sensitive than others I have used and I would take care storing the item because the slightest touch can turn it on. And while playing, it's easily turned off. I would not suggest using this toy anywhere near water as the battery compatment does not seem waterproof.

I would not recommend cleaning this toy under running water. I would use a toy wipe or another personal care type of wipe to clean your toy. I would also take special care to dry the toy after cleaning. Take notice of the battery compartment. If you happen to be the type of person who gets wet easily, the seal of the battery compartment is not completely sealed, and I would make sure nothing gets into the compartment.

My experience with toy is satisfactory. It is not my first choice in a vibrator, but as stated it does stilulate certain areas and I find it helpful on sensitive areas such as nipples, and clitoris. I do not use this vaginally.
