A good introduction to temperature play
Much better than I thought it would be. Even though my hubby doesn't want to play with it doesn't mean that I don't love it.
Published:
Pros
good scent and doesn't get too hot
Cons
can't think of much.
My husband wants nothing to do with any kind of heat/temperature play. It's just not his thing at all. He just doesn't want anything to do with it. So, he kind of freaked out when I picked this up at the sex shop. I had to remind him that it wasn't for him.
This one was for my pet.
We light the candle up and the smell was a bit stronger than what we expected it to be. It smelled a lot like one of those fancy shop candles that will set you back fifty bucks or so. The smell filled the room very fast, and it definitely helped set the mood for us.
It warmed up fast and turned to the oil much faster than we thought that it would. I did pour it right onto his back. He yelped, but I think that was more for show than anything. He turned and looked at me over his shoulder and told me that it wasn't as hot as he thought it was going to be. I put my finger right into the candle and it wasn't scalding at all. The feel was actually really a nice warm feel. A touch on the hot side, but not too hot at all. I licked my finger because I was curious about the taste of it. It was amazing!!! The flavor was far from over powering and was actually really good with the warmth.
It worked wonderful as a massage oil. It took a bit to really absorb into the skin, but it was more than enough time to really use it and move it all over this body.
The oil took a bit of scrubbing to get off after we played but nothing that some good soap wouldn't take care of.
We didn't even use all of the candle that night, so it will last a few times if you aren't over doing it on the use of the oil.

Questions from my mentor.
What are the ingredients in the candle?: Right from the page: Soybean oil, coconut oil, hemp seed oil, apricot oil, safflower oil, avocado oil, vitamin E, flavor.
Did you use the little scoop that came with it? Is it useful?: The little scoop seemed pointless and not useful at all, so it didn't get used.
How many ounces is the candle?: Not sure on that.
What sort of burn time do you expect with it?: No more than 30 minutes at a time. Just a wise thing to do with any oil candle.
Does it absorb into the skin?: It didn't fully absorb into the the skin very well.
What is the size of the tin?: about 2" by 3" give or take a little
Did the scent stay after you washed it off?: It stayed on very nicely.
How pliable is the non-heated wax?: Once cooled totally, it wasn't pliable at all. But if it was a little warm, you could still work it.
What consistency does it melt at? Thick or thin?: Very thin. Just like high quality massage oils.
How long did you burn it for and how much oil did you get from that burn?: I have only burned it at about five minutes. We got about a hand full of oil out of it. Maybe about an 1/8 of an ounce.

I have come across much better massage oil candles since I tried this one out. Not going back to The Suntouched Edible Candles.
