a candle?
If you are into mildly scented candles, this one might be for you. I like to change the scent in my room, when I light a candle. This one does not do it for me.

Pros
lightly scented
Cons
lightly scented, no instructions
I was a little surprised when Eden sent me a candle to review. Not something I would expect to be in their line up of products. Mine showed up slightly damaged, nothing that would stop you from using it. Since the glass jar was still in one piece, I did not want to take the time to send it back and wait for a new one to be sent. It also did not come with any instructions. The was seams to be on the soft side, so I am assuming that this can be used for other purposes then just a candle; but without instructions, I could not tell you. There is also no list of ingredients. Something that bothers me a bit. I like to know what my products are made out of.
I used this as a candle, nothing more. Again, no instructions. As a scented candle, it worked about average. I can compare it to Yankee candles, because the wife has a few of those floating around the house. The Un Baiser candle has a slight coconut scent to it. It took me a while to make out what the "flavor" was. It is pretty week. The Yankee candles have a very distinct smell as soon as you open them. You can tell what scent they are right away. Not true with this SOS. I know that when I am burning a Yankee candle, the whole room will fill up with the chosen scent in a matter of minutes. Yet with this SOS candle, I can burn i for hours with no real scent filling the room. It was kind of disappointing to me. No maybe I am not using it for its intended purpose, but without any kind of directions with the product.... I have burned the candle for about 5 hours, with little to no drop in the jar. I would guess that you could get maybe 100 hours of burn time with this candle.
This is packaged in a nice, heavy duty cardboard tube. The cardboard is covered in a black velvet like material. The candle jar fits nicely into this tube, hiding the candle completely. Not that you would need to hid a candle. After all, it is just a candle, not a sex toy. The bottom of the candle jar has a sticker with some warnings on it. But that is all the information you get with this product.

Experience
I would love to see some instructions and a list of ingredients included with this candle.
Follow-up commentary

We still like this as a candle. Have not used it for a massage candle. As there is not a list of ingredients included (at least with mine). With people in the house with allergies to tree nuts, I don't want to risk getting nut oil tracked around the house. And without a list of ingredients, we don't know if there are nuts used in he candle or not.
As a candle, it leaves a nice mellow scent in the house. The scent is strong enough to affect over half the house. I still use it as a scented candle, and like it as such.

I had a hard time making sense of this review with the lack of proofreading.
-
Hmm, this seems like it MUST be used for massage purposes since it's on Eden? And that it is under the 'massage candle' section?
-
I would assume it is used for massages also. But with people in this house allergic to tree nuts, and no ingredient list; this is a product that will not get touched by our hands. Do not want to spread it around the house if there is a possibility of a tree nut being one of the ingredients. (I have seen tree nuts as an ingredient in massage products) My problem with this product is the lack instructions, and no list of ingredients.

Actually, Ryuson, Eden does carry non-massage or pheromone candles. They are still mood enhancers.
