8 Fingers of Fun
This is the cutest massager ever. Who wouldn't want a friendly octopus giving them a massage. The tentacles are firm and feel very nice on sore muscles. He works well both for relaxing sore muscles and an erotic massage. I love that he is cute and functional.

There are better massagers available
I wanted to try this massager the the first time I saw him. He's cute and adorable, and I had to have him. We incorporate massage into our foreplay and we have a small collection of massagers. I knew this whimsical octopus would fit right in. I was very pleased with how he works. We call him Pussy just to be a bit naughty. He's not really naughty though. He's a fun massager for sore muscles or an erotic massage. He's a nice addition to our toy box.
The octo pleaser is a lavender octopus made out of transparent plastic. He has a bulbous head and 8 tentacles spreading from his body. The head acts as the handle. It is very comfortable in my hand. It's easy to grip and just the right size. The tentacles are the massagers. They curve down from his body so the very ends are what connects to the skin. The tentacles provide a firm and pleasing touch. For some reason I thought he would be somewhat squishy, but he is hard plastic without any give at all. The firm massage does feel very good though. It can help with sore achy muscles or just provide an erotic massage. The fun looking toy is actually functional.
We mainly use broad circular strokes with him. For the most part we use him on our backs, butt, legs, and feet. It is possible to get a more pinpoint pressure by using just one leg. That was a bit too intense for me. I prefer the broader feel with all 8 legs. Holding the octopus in one place and twisting him produces an interesting massage. The underside of the tentacles are smooth, but the topside have some texture to them. You can't really use the textured side for much, but we were successful with using the textures on toes and feet. I really enjoyed that on my feet. It seems to add just a bit deeper of a massage.
We have used him both with and without any lotions or oil. He works either way, but we prefer to use some oil. He just glides easier that way and of of course, our skin loves the oil. We usually use coconut oil, but you can choose from your favorite oils and lotions.
He arrived wrapped in plastic with a tag attached. He is very discrete as he looks just like a child's toy. You could keep him out in the open as a whimsical knick knack. If nautical creatures don't fit your decor, he's fine in a drawer somewhere. We keep ours in a basket with our other massagers. Being plastic he is very easy to clean. If soiled, he can be washed with soap and water.
I reviewed the Contour M here a few weeks ago. I have to say the Contour M is a better massager for stiff achy muscles. If you only want one massager I would recommend the Contour M. However, the octo pleaser does a nice job too. Plus he's just too cute. I am glad we have them both.

I like this, but mainly because he is so cute sitting on my dresser. We have better massagers. (The best is Contour M.) Still we use octo-pleaser when we want some whimsical fun with our massage.
