52 weeks of naughty nights review
52 Weeks of Naughty Nights is not going to completely overhaul your sex life. But it does add an aura of randomness, mystery, and anticipation to your sexual activities.

Pros
Scratch-off cards, reuseable, nice presentation, good descriptions of activities
Cons
Some activities are less-than-inventive or require advance planning, perforated cards
52 Weeks of Naughty Nights|52 weeks of naughty nights is a kit that contains 52 scratch-off cards full of sexual ideas and suggestions. The kit comes attractively packaged in a flimsy but highly decorated box, and contains a back satin drawstring pouch to hold the cards. The cards are black and silver—black designated for him to read, silver for her to read.
The suggestions on the cards are written both in English and in French. They are more than mere one-line suggestions such as “blindfold your partner.” Each card contains a description of the activity and the pleasures that can be gained from it. None of the suggestions blew my socks off, but the random nature and the surprise afforded by the scratch-off cards adds a delicious feeling of anticipation to the activity.
The scratch-off feature of the cards does not make them limited to only one use. Due to the black satin bag, the cards may be re-added to the mix after all the scratch-offs have been used up, just as a bag of random sexual suggestions. The cards are glossy and stiff cardboard that should hold up for some time. After you have scratched off all the cards, just add them to the bag again and use it for drawing surprise suggestions.
The cards, obviously, are meant to be used once per week in order to achieve a full year’s worth of use. My husband and I were not quite patient enough to keep this pace, however, especially since the cards are divided into his/her selections. Generally, we would each draw one card from our respective stacks whenever the mood struck us; the cards could then be immediately redeemed or saved for a later date (some may require some preparation or advance planning). We also did not reveal the cards to each other until we were ready to redeem them, thus adding to the sense of mystery and anticipation.
The only real complaint I have about this set is that the cards initially come connected in sheets and must be separated. If you do not wish to use the random draw feature of the satin bag, this is not necessarily a bad thing, since it keeps the his and her cards separated. But if you want the experience of reaching randomly into the silky bag, you will have to spend some time separating the cards along their perforated edges.

Follow-up commentary

Ok, so I find the French translations a little pretentious, but I still really like this set because the cards offer more information than a one line "please-your-partner" suggestion. It is not as suited, in my opinion, to randomly leaving cards lying around for your lover to find as some sets of this type; the card-drawing is an activity more exciting when performed together.
