3 Good, 1 OK, 1 Horrible: Variety is the Spice of This Kit
Every weekender kit needs a massage oil, and the Kama Sutra Massage Therapy Kit allows for a variety of TSA-friendly oils. Five bottles mean five distinct scents, and you may not like them all, but this kit is still a must have for anyone who loves a good rub-down!

Pros
Variety of scents for a variety of scenarios. A little goes a long way.
Cons
'Pleasure Garden' wasn't a good aroma. Minor leakage issues.
The Massage Therapy Kit by Kama Sutra is a 5-pack of travel-size massage oils. Whether using these at home and having a variety to use, or just using the 2oz bottles for a TSA-Friendly pack-a-long, these oils are fantastic for massage and foreplay.
There are 5 bottles; each with a subtle, yet distinct aroma. Because of the oil base, be sure to avoid interaction with any toys that are oil-sensitive.
Fantastic for massage, foreplay, or a moisturizing bath addition, these oils have a variety of uses. And with 5 2oz bottles, you have plenty of oil to experiment with!
The texture for these oils is exactly what you look for in a massage oil.
- The product is thin and spreads across the body easily. A few drops will go a long way.
- The oils are slick and oily. It slowly absorbs into the skin, but slow enough where you can get some pretty liberal rubbing done before having to worry about reapplication.
- The scents are relaxing, invigorating, and (most importantly) not overpowering.
Compared to other massage oils, Kama Sutra's oils are top-notch. They're long lasting, incredibly slick, and always help you get the job done.
Since I usually don't taste massage oils that aren't listed as 'edible,' I can't tell you what this product tastes like. Their edible oils are tasty, but these aren't labeled as edible.
The aromas in this Kit varies, so let me break it down:
Soaring Spirit - Listed as "Invigorating blend of pure essential oils to energize and refresh." It smells minty, with a hint of almond. Very relaxing, yet stimulating.
Healing Blend - "Rich blend of pure essential oils for soothing muscles and restoring harmony." This smells lightly of cloves and cedar. It's one of the bolder scents, but it soothes your spirits while your muscles get worked on.
Sweet Almond - "Sensual combination of calming oils to help relaxation." The name says it all: It's sweet, it's almond-y, and it smells very artificial. Not bad, but not fantastic.
Serenity - "Soothing mixture of essential oils for quieting body and soul." This oil is a great jump-starter for foreplay. The mix of cedar, orange and lavender are both relaxing and sensual, and gets my blood flowing.
Pleasure Garden - "Invigorating blend of pure essential oils to energize and refresh." It has the same label as Soaring Spirit, but the aromas are night and day. This one has a powerful flowery smell, with roses being the most dominant. I didn't like this scent, and quickly found myself referring to this bottle as 'Grandma's perfume.'
Performance is where Kama Sutra excels, and these massage oils are no exception. The oils are very slick, last a long time, and moisturize the skin as it slowly absorbs into the body.
As I warned earlier, these are oils. Any toys made with silicone or any other 'non-oil-friendly' material needs to be kept away from these products. Oils also stain some fabrics, so keep away from silks and other sensitive materials.
To wash the oil off, you will need to use soap and water. However, the oils absorb nicely into the skin. You really don't need to wash it off unless you want to.
The oils come in 2oz containers with a press-to-open cap. The oil dispenses nicely with a little squeeze, but a small amount of oil always manages to squeeze through the seams when opened. The cap gets a little oily, making most people think the packaging is leaky.
The labeling is clean and professional. The size is travel friendly and TSA-accepted. The plastic is recyclable, so you can toss it into the recycle bin instead of the trash when you run out (which takes a long time). Besides the minor mess when dispensing, the packaging is nearly flawless.
I'm not a masseuse, so take my opinions with a grain of salt.
But as an amateur? I love Kama Sutra's oils. This Massage Therapy kit gives you a great variety of oils to use in different situations, and I enjoyed 4 of the 5 scents. The 'Pleasure Garden' is not pleasurable at all, unless you love love LOVE the smell of rose perfume.
Great for massage. Great for foreplay. Great for aromatherapy. Great great product.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it2 months after original review
After a few months use, we are now out of 2 bottles, halfway through two other, and we tossed #5. The bad thing about variety packs is you find a favorite or two, and those go fast!

Awesome review! This does look like a great set. I love the variety, but have to agree with you on the Pleasure Garden. The rose scents absolutely turn my stomach! Thanks for the nice info on this and I love that you included descriptions of each scent. I would so be considering this kit had I not just ordered a crap load of Shunga. Lol.
