This is a 12 month calendar that has a picture displayed for each month. Each picture was taken by a member of the Eden Photography Club. All the pictures are different and are accompanied by a famous quote. Some I had heard of; some I had not. This calendar greatly details all holidays, religion related or not. It's great because regardless of what you celebrate, it also reminds you about other people's holidays. It can be written on so feel free to add your own deadlines and reminders as necessary.

Even though I wasn't a member of EdenFantasy when this calendar was being constructed, I knew I had to have it the second I heard about it. I was even more excited when it was sent to me in one of my packages as an extra, free gift.

The calendar is designed somewhat like a spiral notebook. They seem to have similar spiral binding, except that the calendar's spiral binding is plastic. The cover has a smaller version of the pictures displayed throughout the calendar, sprayed across it. Typically calendars have these located on the back, although I am not bothered by this in the least.
Every month has its own picture and quote.
They are:
January - A picture of someone driving down the open road, window down. Looking through the rear view mirror you can see a beautiful reddish/golden sunset. Quote- "Driving is a spectacular form of amnesia. Everything is to be discovered, everything to be obliterated."~ Jean Baudrillard
February - A picture of red, yellow, and orange - brightly colored Poesy's with a beautiful pear shaped diamond sitting amongst them. Quote- "Poesy engraved on the ring, love engraved on my heart." ~Astrid Alauda
March- A picture of a beautiful city lit up at night and the reflections of the buildings and bridge reflecting off the water. Quote- "We are what we see. We are products of our surroundings." ~Amber Valletta
April- A picture of a bee buzzing around some Spring, magenta flower buds. Quote- "Behold, my friends, the spring is come; the earth has gladly received the embraces of the sun, and we shall see the results of their love!" Sitting Bull
May- A young woman in older period dress wielding a sword and getting into an attacking stance. Quote- "When your hobbies get in the way of your work- that’s OK; but when your hobbies get in the way of themselves...well.” Steve Martin
June- A picture of a young woman wearing a skirt and cowboy boots, sitting down with the grass and dirt surrounding her. Quote- "Our bodies are our gardens- our wills are our gardeners." ~William Shakespeare
July - A fun picture of a dandelion that has changed from a vibrant yellow to an old fading star. Quote- "Then followed that beautiful season...Summer...Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; and the landscape lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood." ~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
August- This picture is a fun shot of a fun loving adventurous pup. Quote- “Pets are humanizing. They remind us we have an obligation and responsibility to preserve and nurture and care for all life." ~ James Cromwell
September- A picture of a man presumably at the beach, holding a star fish. Quote- " A vacation is like love: anticipated with pleasure, experienced with discomfort, and remembered with nostalgia." ~Evan Esar
October- This picture represents the Halloween season perfectly. It is a picture of a skull, a bottle of absinthe and a few of biology specimen containers. Quote- "Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love." ~ Hamilton Wright Mabie
November- A picture of a woman wearing a white sundress and cowboy boots jumping in an over grown field. Quote- "I believe that how you feel is very important to how you look- that healthy equals beautiful." ~Victoria Principal
December-A great picture of a young woman with a tattoo on her face, outlining her eye ,sits in a lovely waterfall. Quote- " Tattoos are like stories- they're symbolic of the important moments in your life. Sitting down, talking about where you got each tattoo and what it symbolizes, is really beautiful." ~Pamela Anerson

The last page and inside back cover have a quick breakdown of each day and month of 2013. The outside back cover has a paragraph explaining all the hard work that the Eden Community put into it.

I thought that this calendar was such a great idea. I was even more surprised and happy when one arrived with one of my orders, even though I had forgotten to add it to my cart.

I use the calendar daily. I placed it on my wall right next to my computer. I did this purposely because I am always on my computer and this way I will always be able to check out my calendar as well.
