Dita Stripteese is a collection of three erotic flip books that show Dita Von Teese as sexy as ever! Dita Von Teese is the "queen of burlesque" and a modern day fashion icon who lives in Hollywood California. She is drop dead gorgeous! With a little research I read that she loves old Hollywood cinema (reflected in her makeup and fashion) and really loves Betty Grable. I love Betty Grable, who doesn't?! (the merry widow... likes to do the boogie woogie!) Dita Von Teese is beautiful and this flip book collection is just a little taste of her talents. If you don't know a whole lot about her you should really research about her a little more. She is amazing!

Dita Von Teese is a "book" with three rectangular indentations inside that hold the flip books. The book has velvety lettering and ties with a satin ribbon. It's a gorgeous piece of erotic art and the flip book concept is a really neat idea! As soon as I saw this on Edenfantasys I knew I needed to have it!

The photographer, Sherly Nields, has had her work featured in Esquire, Harper's Bazaar, Flaunt, Interview, Premiere, Arena UK, and Elle magazine. She lives in Venice, California.

Here is a description of the three flip books inside. They have a "mini movie" on each side to match so there's really a total of 6 flips you can do to watch everything.

1. Swing, Birds of Paradise - Dita Von Teese takes off her corset and does a burlesque routine with giant red feather fans. When you reverse the same flip book and look at the other side it shows her nearly naked (panties and nipple pasties!) inside of a gilded bird cage. She's twirls and teases on the swing in various erotic poses. Wow!

2. Seduce, Classic - Dita Von Teese is shown up close looking like a glamorous movie star wearing a red satin corset, black skirt, and black hat with a veil. She teases as she takes her jacket off and slips her skirt down. On the reverse she unties her corset and teases you "burlesque style" with her breasts without showing everything. At the end she's wearing black panties and she's topless with her hands covering her breasts. My personal favorite. ;)

3. Splash, Martini Glass - Dita Von Teese is wearing this gorgeous shiny metallic bra top and corset with garters! I don't know how to explain it but it's gorgeous and sparkly. Her corset disappears and she teases and flaunts as she slips her high heels and her stockings off. On the reverse she's wearing silver nipple pasties and panties in this huge martini glass! She pours some bubbly down her breasts and she does some erotic poses in the glass. It's awesome!

The book came in a plastic sleeve with a glossy paper insert (looks like the back of a book) with a paragraph of information on Dita Von Teese and a few thumbnail photos of a few of the flip book scenes. The book itself is thick to hold the flip books and the inside is lined in dark wine colored velvet. The underside of the front cover is lined with soft matte high quality paper with metallic little flowers on it. The book ties with a matching satin ribbon. The front of the book says, "Dita Stripteese" in velvety letters. The book is decorated with sticker like images of lace with sequins and sparkles! This book is so girly and pretty! The entire back of the book is a gorgeous photo of Dita Von Teese wearing her "classic" outfit. The overall quality of this book just blows my mind! It's gorgeous.

The flip books themselves are also very high quality and made with heavy photo paper. The outside covers are soft and matte with metallic edges. Flipping the books is really easy and it's ok to bend them a little bit so you're able to view the scenes. I notice that it's a little hard to see everything (towards the top of the scene) but it doesn't bother me. I love that the flip books are like little mini movies. When you watch it the pages flicker like an old film. I love it! It's a very unique design for a collection like this. I'm so glad that I purchased it!

I bought this because I'm an art lover and I love burlesque. I think the flip book idea is really awesome and I just felt like I needed to add this to my book collection. I had a lot of fun showing it off to my boyfriend! I'd recommend buying it for yourself or as a gift to someone close who would appreciate something beautiful, sexy, and unique.
