To Watch or To Be Watched, that, is the Question ...
Are you are watcher or do you like to be watched? There is a story in here to suit every kind of conceivable exhibitionist's or voyeur's fantasy. Even if it's not your thing, I can bet you'll enjoy this anthology of erotic tales.
Published:
Pros
Short stories ideal for travel and steamy light reading.
Cons
None.
Hide and Seek is an anthology of stories, published by Cleis Press, perfect for the exhibitionist or the voyeur or even simply the curious.
It is a glossy soft cover with a modest image of a naked woman facing away in a soft glow of light. You are graced with 187 pages of 21 steamy stories from 21 different authors, ranging from 5 - 12 pages in length each(including the ‘About the Authors’ and ‘About the Editors’ sections. And speaking of editors, it is edited by two of my favourite erotica authors, Alison Tyler and Rachel Kramer Bussel.
Even if you are not the exhibitionist it's okay, I'm not and I still madly enjoyed these stories. I am a happy little voyeur and hiding between the bedcovers in a half lit room and indulging in fantasy is a great way to spend an evening, especially with this book. It's basically a hetrosexual book but there are a couple of stories that deal with female/female and a hint of homosexuality also. There's a little something for everyone, whether it is from the viewpoint of the exhibitionist or the voyeur you will find something to make you twitch. One thing I found lovely was most of the encounters were 'first time' encounters. Fantasies becoming real.
As with all anthologies there will always be favourites and indeed I had my own ...
“Red Light, Green Light” by Shanna Germain ~ a rented window in Amsterdam's Red Light District is a present for a wife, the desire to be watched is all too evident here.
"The Corners of my Eyes by Stan Kent " ~ a man who likes to watch his partner fuck other men and then they have their own fantastically, hawt sex.
There are all sorts of situations, places ...
In a taxi, a dorm room, a restroom, even in a tent, the park, a pickup truck, a club, at a peep show, at the opera, at home, on a car, on a webcam, on a balcony, on New Year's Eve, on the beach ... something for every flavor.

Experience
This was like having a front row seat to each and every story, a watcher in the background. Did I enjoy it? Hell yes. Some stories were yano, okay but not anything to make me squirm with lust, others were hawt. Is it worth the read? As with any anthology there are always going to be good and bad stories, ones that make you wet with anticipation and others that leave you feeling like a dead fish. It is worth the read. It piqued my curiosity because I'm not an exhibitionist at all but in some odd way i found these erotic and if anything, I could escape and imagine myself in some of these scenes.
