The Softer Side of Porn
If you have a romantic nature or just love your porn to contain lots of intense facial expressions and soft loving looks then you should check out "Almost Heaven". If, however, you like hard hitting or shocking acts in your porn then I would recommend skipping this particular movie.
The sex is soft, sweet and has an almost dreamlike quality about it. The plot is interesting and unusual enough to propel the viewer to watch the next scene. All in all it's a great piece of light viewing.

"Almost Heaven" by New Sensations is a soft, romantic style of porn that appeals to the more sensual side of our nature. The central premise of the Romance Series is geared toward couples watching together. To that end the plots are focused on what makes love special and romantic love timeless.
In "Almost Heaven" all of these elements coalesce into a lovely, dreamy look at what makes marriage and attraction so appealing to most of us. The plot is fairly simple and straightforward; Angie (Kiara Diane) has passed on and she is given the opportunity to select one memory to take with her into Eternity. She has had a happy, successful, albeit short marriage and she chooses to remember Jake, (Chris Johnson) her husband. Now she has to choose just one memory to take with her and we watch her struggle with this choice.
Angie has help on her journey in the form of a sort of counselor named Michael (Xander Corvus) and his adorable assistant Sara (Allie Haze). In a related sub plot Sara is attracted to Michael who is oblivious to this fact. We are treated to some memories of other deceased individuals and the movie is wrapped up nicely in a trite but acceptable manner.
In the first scene we are witness to a memory of another woman, Carine (Brooke Lee Adams) and her husband, David (Danny Mountain). She chose to remember a particularly romantic anniversary and it is a memory sure to warm even a cold heart!
In the next scene we are treated to the sub plot between Michael and Sara. She has a vivid fantasy of a sexual encounter with Michael right there in the break room. She snaps back to reality in time to pour his coffee all over the counter.
In the third scene we meet Alice (Victoria White) and Joe (Rocco Reed) a couple who have apparently passed on as well. They decide that they would prefer to take with them a memory that is fresh and different and set out to make this happen. Our Heroine, Angie, slowly begins to realize that it's all the small things that make love and romance worthwhile and gives Michael some advice. It seems he actually does notice his assistant and is soon making good on that realization. The kiss is sweet and passionate! Angie suddenly wakes up and realizes that dying was a dream and she has a new appreciation for her husband and their relationship.
The the fourth and final scene Angie and Jake have a morning romp that leaves him rushing off to work late, but smiling and satisfied.
The sex is all pretty vanilla and "normal" which in my mind means it follows a familiar formula: some kissing and petting which leads to some slow undressing. An oral sex session follows which leads to some PIV sex in various positions. The end is finalized with the 'money shot' and everyone is smiling and satisfied. It can be dull and repetitive but isn't shocking in the slightest. If you have someone who is reluctant to watch porn this might be less intimidating that mainstream porn.
The costumes are natural and won't leave you wondering about a world where people wear impossible lingerie at home on a supposed daily basis.
The actors are also natural looking, though impossibly beautiful. I don't count this as a bad thing and it was nice to see well proportioned women and chiseled, healthy men. The scenes had good chemistry even if, at times, the acting broke down and was jarringly bad. It was still a credible effort.
I found the sound quality lacking at times but the times were few and far between. The lighting was bright and white though it fit the plot premise and it ended up giving the movie a soft feel.
The DVD offers a behind the scenes with the actors that is sweet and fun to watch.
This series also contains the titles: "An Eternal Love", "The Wedding Day", "An Office Romance", An Eternal Love 2", "Awakening To Love", and "The Engagement Party".
Experience
I really liked the softer feel of this movie. I started to watch it for the sex and ended up watching the whole movie in one sitting for the plot!

Soft, dreamy and reasonably good acting. I find myself watching this DVD when I am needing a bit of softer porn with a more romantic feel to it.
